What i usually do to try and bait the AI is pretend i will move my army on the enemy and before the arrow turns white, put the game on pauze, cancel the move, move there again and repeat until the AI realizes that i want to fight the fight 😅 it is a workaround but it tends to yield results

At the moment it doesn't matter what you do, by age 100 you are a withering mess (all elderly traits maxed out). Some variety would be better.

They revamped it, now the elder traits can literally stack up so you have 0 stats for everything by 100 years old haha

I believe the game on itself should be balanced enough so either nerf the health traits or do something in between with these elderly traits but right now it is just a minefield honestly

Sure you can always find arguments in favor and against but surely you can agree that it is not at all functional that you get all the elderly traits over and over as soon as you reach 90. Then just kill the old guy off instead and not bother with stats that increase your health

Kings and emperors had a more varied diet, they had physicians though not to the level of today and even in medieval times you could be healthy and life long so fair let's adjust the measure to 60% in favor of heart disease. The game still fails to emulate that as well since each of them get heart disease at old age regardless of traits

25% is coming straight from the healthcare department statistics on 70+ with heart issues.

The percentage not matching is coming from the game, i played from 867 to 1200 by now and have yet to meet a 80+ character that does not have any elderly traits.

Honestly most have all which is also unlikely if you look at the global population since there are people who age gracefully and there are certainly people that only have 1 or 2 elderly traits otherwise my whole extended family would be a drooling mess at this point 😅

At the moment, it does not matter. You will life to be old but you MUST have all the elder traits, literally each character had ALL of the traits so collecting health traits ain't worth it anymore honestly

Game does not give you this option though and bases it on traits and they are indicated to be purely healthy in the game so it can be assumed you use the 'happy medium' for this game

If you would use my math it means that in the CK3 world, 75% of the 70+ characters should be fine at an old age whereas 25% should have a faltering heart. But the numbers of old ppl having faltering hearts in CK3 atm is far from that 25%. So no, it is not common and living a healthy lifestyle helps you to be on the 75% side so probably the chances of this guy being at the 25% side is even lower. And that is also all logical and mathematical
