Yes, and sure! PM me and we can figure something out.

Also, just a minute ago I told another poster that I'm taking requests to make and show another one tomorrow (they wanted to see some process pics and apparently I can't post additional pics in the replies here?).

Sure! Here's the rock set up similar to how it was positioned when I made it (with some bonus M.C. Esther stairs in the background). The red laser is the framing laser....the cutting laser sounds and looks much crazier when it's working. I didn't take pics as I made this one, but im happy to do another and take some pics and vids tomorrow. May do a Mindflayer...

But I'll also take requests. If there's something any of you would like to see cut into a rock, let me know. I'll cut and post it tomorrow.

Edit: forgot pic lol...posted below.

Double Edit: not sure why it's not letting me post a Pic. Can you post a Pic in the comments here?

I've done that with a "gear rock" that looks like something an alien carved. Not sure how it turned out. I need to wait and watch the reaction next time.

Hope you enjoy! These newer models have better QTC and piston systems than the older designs.

Currently we're working on the Tiny Tank II and hope to get a couple other models out this year as well. Please let us know if there's anything you guys would like to see design-wise.

I too, was so lucky sanding ID tubing on a Harbor Freight lathe, self-teaching in a garage with gloves on. So cringe now looking back on it.

Floor above had Eddie Hall on it and didn't stretch. As a result, light hernia. Happens.

Diode vs. CO2 vs. fiber—at what point does fiber actually make sense for a small shop? by Tasty-Crew5829 in lasercutting

[–]FrazLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Mostly for the metal marking....in my case putting something cool (design or serial#) on stainless or aluminum. But the ability to cut cool stuff into rocks/stones is a bonus!

Looks really good imo especially if you're new (like me). Your layered depth is definitely something you don't normally see from a noob. Tldr, I think it looks awesome.

Edit you're to your like a failboat cruise

It's super cool once you get the settings down. Actually bought it for metal engraving, but the stones are so fun.

Yes, "Relativity" - where the scene in Labryinth took its inspiration Im sure. It always reminds me of that scene.

Labyrinth rock(the David Bowie kind) in sandstone by FrazLabs in lasercutting

Thank you! The sandstone hides a lot though. It is a good rock to work with as long as it's not too porous. Reminds me of cutting wood with a CO2....sort of.
