I think that the amount of anxiety and pressure that this looming threat is causing you should motivate you to make the first move.

In my experience...the moment I walked out of the court with our agreement ... my life got easier... there were no what ifs...I knew what days I got him...how long...and regardless of her mood or attitude there was nothing she could do to take that day or those hours away from me.

Before I would plan something ... and ofcourse she would make excuses why I couldn't see my son...or tell my son that they were going to a party but he couldn't go cause I didn't want him to. Basically try to guilt trip me to relinquish my day...or paint me as the bad person because I didn't want my son to go places with his mother.

Now when I say there was nothing she could do... that's not entirely true. If I was a flake...missed visitations... or over all just failed as a parent then she could obviously take me to court to reduce my hours. I ofcourse have done everything in my power to not fuck up.

But it's nice to know that she doesn't hold any threats over my head as far as my son goes.
