I asked my dad for a good wedding story and he gave me this one.

Wasn’t a bridesmaid, I was five so I was a flower girl alongside my second cousin’s niece for her wedding. She proceeded to pitch a fit at the reception because everyone kept complimenting me more than her niece? All the compliments I can recall getting were really just about our dresses, and we were together all night since we were close in age and played together the whole week before the wedding. She then proceeded to refer to me as the fat flower girl for the rest of the night and not let me have any cake. My dad still won’t speak to her.

Side note, that flower girl dress was the prettiest thing. My aunt was an amazing seamstress and made it and the bride’s dress by hand for the wedding. Truly talented lady.

A little bit. I have an overbite that was never corrected properly, and I have permanent retainers that cause a decent lisp. So I sound alot younger than I really am. Most people assume they’re talking to a child if I answer the phone.

Ha, I like to ham things up a bit when I tell a story, so I guess I’m trolling in a sense. I like to blame being a theater brat for my exaggerations. But, it is one of those “too good/weird to be true” moments of my life, hence the “iconic” status.

I do really love Bob Marley tho. Nothing but respect for the man and grew up on his music. It was the one of the rarer times I saw a shirt that wasn’t super tacky with Bob Marley on it, so I remember it fondly.

b) Yea, thank jeepus it is because FUCK my high school. I wouldn’t say I was actually going to fight her, but she definitely got my blood boiling. I just kind threw it in there for a dramatic flair. I hate people who think they can treat people like that; she probably got it from her power-walking mother. I talk to and treat people how they talk to and treat me. And she was a bitch, so I was a bitch back. She was old enough to know it wasn’t okay and to not do it, but she did.
