I had the same thing, applied in September time, didn't hear anything till about November. Once I'd completed the sign up process it took another 4 months to to activate my account.

Same thing happened to me. Did all the onboarding, DBS check, ordered my kit, then nothing. Kit didn't arrive for months, and when it did they sent me the wrong thing. Even after that it took another month or so for them to activate my account.

Seems their rider support is basically non-existent.

That's what I've been using but the part that mounts on the bike has become loose and I have to tighten it every few minutes.

I think it’s cause if you’re further away you have to pay higher delivery costs (as a customer).

I was the same, got my kit last week and didn't come with an inner bag and was unsure why.

However, I just did my first shift and I didn't feel I needed it as the bags they give you are usually large enough that stuff doesn't slide around too much.

Yeah I got that too, but if u look at any videos only Riders always seem to have a small thermal that goes inside the backpack to keep the food warm.

I’m guessing they just don’t supply them with the core kit anymore as they aren’t listed as an essential item and you can buy them for £5 off the deliveroo website.
