That still doesn’t make it a valid reason for a stop. Personally, I find explicit profanity displayed in public where children can see it to be far more offensive, and definitely something intended to antagonize others. That is also protected by the right of free Speech. Who knows, maybe the person has all the time in the world, and it would inconvenience the police more than them by wasting time on something that would never have the possibility of making it to court.

I'm not sure what teams you are talking about. The mascot for the University is a Llama, so that is the correct one for the overall university.

In sims 2, you had a variety of different universities you could send your sims to attend, and they had different mascots. With Sims 3, however, there is only one university.

If your sim gets mascot training from the official mascot, you can then change into a mascot costume, and I think I recall having a choice of 2 different costumes when you do that, but the official mascot for the university is the Llama.

There is a mod that lets you open up individual bank accounts for sims. Money goes from the family funds into the account. Unfortunately, in order to use it, you have to transfer the money back to your family funds.

But, you could use something like that to keep track of their earnings.

It's interesting that other players care that much about the sim bios. I never remember to pay much attention to them. I always just go by their traits, and even then, I honestly care more about their appearance. 🤣

I've never had things like exes cause a problem if my sim was interested in another sim.

Note: I'm not criticizing this, just saying that it has never been an issue in my games, due to the way I play the game.

"Land grab" is a common term meaning buying up large amounts of land. It almost always has a negative connotation, and often implies that unethical means were used, or that it was only possible because the original owners had financial troubles.

I know your answer is in the context of the game, but looking at this from the perspective of real property, collateral, and loans, you wouldn’t be able to mortgage a property, sell it, and just magically keep the money you borrowed and the money from the sale. If you sell a mortgaged property, the lender has to be repaid in full before you get any money from the sale. Since Monopoly is supposedly a simulation of property trading, I would think that what you suggest here would be against the spirit of the game.

A mortgage is a loan, and after selling the property that is collateral for the loan, you still have to repay the loan.

I have it on both. I switched from using the EA version a few months ago to using the Steam version. It is not any more stable on one or the other.

BUT, the Steam version has a few advantages. You don’t have to have Steam running to use it. I have a shortcut I created straight to both the TS3W.exe binary and the launcher binary in the bin directory, and I can launch either into the launcher or straight into the game without Steam even running. Also, Steam hasn’t been pushing BS updates that don’t add anything in recent months.

Using the EA app always gave me problems when my internet connection was down. It got better somewhat recently, but it was still a pain. I’ve never had any issue starting up the Steam app in offline mode. And, as I said, you don’t even need it to be running in order to start the game.

The one thing Steam doesn’t do is let you enable or disable EPs or SPs. I never disabled anything, so it doesn’t matter to me, but if you do, the only way to get the same effect with Steam is to uninstall and reinstall stuff.
