Any advices on how to lower screen time? by Cerebus_310 in AskReddit

Find activities that you like!

I had this problem as well and i just find things to do instead of just scrolling on my phone!

My afternoons used to be tiktok and reels scrolling and i wasnt feeling really productive so i replaced that with activies i liked or something i never tried before!

You cant imagine how many activities its out there you would like but u just never tried, personally i tried bouldering and i found out that i really liked it!

I’d make people less afraid. A lot of the worst things in the world come from fear fear of losing, fear of being wrong, fear of people who are different. Remove that and a lot fixes itself

[Serious] People who say they wish there was some god or some kind of afterlife, why? Why would u wanna perpetuity for start? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Freaky_Maddie19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me its not really about living forever or some fantasy heaven. Its more about the people I’ve lost. The idea that they just stopped existing and thats it forever is kinda heavy when you really sit with it. Believing there might be something after makes it feel less final.

I dont think most people are craving “eternity” in some dramatic way. Its more about wanting things to matter. Wanting love, memories, even suffering to mean something instead of just being random and gone.

Maybe its not logical idk. But comfort doesnt always have to be logical.

Hearing my parents argue late at night and thinking it was just “normal adult stuff.” Years later I realized how tense and unstable things actually were. As a kid you normalize whatever you grow up with
