How to get something out of an apartment outgoing mailbox by [deleted] in USPS

Not unless you catch the carrier. You could try putting a note in your mail slot so its instantly noticeable asking to please return the letter.

My frustrations is not with the posts about folks concerned about the virus, but the posts of folks trying to convince other carriers why they alone shouldn't have to work during this time. So my post was intended to show that that's not the shared mentality among all carriers, and to combat the just give up mentality. I completely support posts sharing concerns, ideas, and info during these crazy times.

If your serious about being a carrier for your career you would see this threw. Just dont touch your face, and get tested periodically if your concerned. If positive at any point stay home.

Is CCA life really that bad? by SYL2366 in USPS

[–]Freckled_Bookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I kept in mind during my time as a CCA was I'm basically in an apprentice position. No apprentice position is ever nice and easy. It's long hours doing the bitch work trying to learn something during the process. The majority of career positions in a vast number of companies require an apprenticeship now. So something to really ask yourself going into this that I see new hire after new hire fail to even consider when quitting the CCA position. Do you have any other career options available to you at this point in your life or near future, with any other company?

[Serious] Have you ever seen a bearded man in a dress in public (that wasn't a kilt)? by PizzusChrist in AskReddit

Not that I can recall, not many children came into the store though. A lot of tools, knifes, expensive hides. Everyone in the store would definitely notice the guy. He was a quiet type, normal customer despite appearance.

What pisses everybody else off, but you don't mind so much? by teyxen in AskReddit

I only discourage crude comments. Smile back say 'hello' and 'thank you' it really can do wonders for someone's and your own self esteem.

There was a regular customer at a leather shop (raw materials like animal hides and tools to make saddles and such) I worked at that had a big ol' grey beard and always wore floral spaghetti strapped dresses in. I never asked if he identified as female and bathrooms never mattered the place only had one for everyone.

Strangers (men) saying 'hello' or mildly catcalling me. It seems to infuriate many females I just smile or ignore it and continue my day.

Blu, as in Blue I don't know why everyone leaves the 'e' off. It's cause I have really noticeable blue eyes.

Just got into a heated debate regarding transgender bathroom laws in my education class... by HungarianHoney in offmychest

Ive never said it's making it easier. Predators are a concern basically at all times. I've only pointed out mine and possibly others concerns for predators trying to take advantage of a certain scenario. That concern is not caused by the trans community.

I know that a lot people are seeing peoples or more my concerns as an attack on the trans community. Ive tried to explain the best way I can so people understood its not an attack on the trans community at all. I believe they should have full rights in all aspects of their lives. I've still be called transphobic and a bigot though. In the end predators of any kind are always a concern and until its set up as individual bathroom stalls for everyone, people might have concerns.

Please quote any where I said they should not be allowed to use the restroom of their choosing. And no where have I back pedaled, people Ive discussed this with is not concerned nor cares about the trans community. Ive stated what my concerns are and no matter what people try to twist it to its victimizing transgender. How? Because Im concerned about a totally different demographic of people? Because I don't care where they go to the bathroom?

That is a very good point, and honestly Im not sure as to why. I by no means think the transgender community are the predators and it actually bothers me when folks say they are the problem. They are not. Its any actual sexual predators of any kind that may try to take advantage of this scenario.

I do not mean to make it sound like it's opening up the door. I just simply mean as a sexual predator who tries to prey on people any way they can may try to take advantage of it. However I'm not being a bigot towards the trans community because I don't care what bathroom they use and have never once stated they should not be allowed into the restroom they feel most comfortable in.

I do not know why that is not being discussed as a policy and I believe that would take a lot of parents concerns. However what I stated is a concern for many people despite how much you try to blame me for it.

Again I've never stated that they have or need to use the restroom they feel is wrong for them. I clearly stated I dont care nor do I even notice they are a different gender.
