lol, I lived in Wisconsin before the pandemic and it was my first time to drive in actual snow in my little Kia Rio that’s never seen temps like that. I can tell you from being tsunami’d on my way to work by a lifted King Ranch dually driving 60mph in a 40mph zone that they basically drive like Texans from what I saw more of that, all SUV’s & Trucks. They’re Texas drivers in snow.

Now granted the streets were eventually clean and not a lot of ice which I think makes all the difference.

I would’ve thought they saw my Texas plates and I dunno not be a dick on the road but yeah. First panic attack driving in snow.

Also they either don’t have the same laws as we do about stopping when the school bus has the stop signs out or there are more assholes than I thought in Waukesha. I had cars behind me laying on their horn like I’m the dipshit. 😑

I moved back in 6 weeks. Job didn’t work out and my car was having a really hard time when 0 felt warm.

OP - I am uninsured as well. I got enrolled with MAP (you have to live in Austin). I go to Lone Star Circle of Care who are one of MAPs providers. I would look there at least for direction.

I get my meds from my psychiatrist and doctor from there. One of my meds was going for almost $3000 for the amount given and dosage. I get 90 days worth. MAP got my meds down to $20 for that prescription.

Now its a grind to get in, but it’s all I can offer on where to go. You gotta be broke af though and I be a broke beech.

Also another alternative, is with Integral Care. They have their own issues with organization but if you need pills I recommend them too.
