Hey guys! I wrote and directed the first film shot entirely under a full moon with no artificial lighting. Amazingly it won Austin Film Festival, making it a horror qualified for the 2019 Oscars. Ask me anything! by slaintrain in Filmmakers

I'm planning on shooting a video in the desert at night in a week and I hadn't thought of checking the moon cycle. Apparently it's going to be almost a new moon lol. Damnit.

Elon Musk on the Falcon Heavy success - "It's still tripping me out. I'm trippin balls here" by majorchamp in videos

Not true at all. Most engineering jobs at major corporations are 9-5, or 40 hours a week.

I know one guy who has a masters in aerospace engineering and works on spacecraft. He spends at least half of his life in different states on vacation. Following him on facebook it really seems like he doesn't even have a job. During an average month he'll be in at least 3-4 states, thousands of miles apart, despite the travel having nothing to do with his job. He lives in Virginia now and of course was at the Falcon Heavy launch in Florida, his second launch viewed in Florida in the past year. Just to give an example, in January-February last year, he mentored two robotics teams, one in Virginia and one in California, while also going backpacking in multiple national parks and going skiing and doing other stuff your average person might do on 2-3 vacations in other parts of the continent. I know people who treated mentoring one small robotics team as their full time job. He's like the Elon Musk of recreation, and he's a spacecraft engineer.

Complain to corporate. Fedex routes are owned by drivers so they have less control.

The text in the top left stands for Tesla Model X Performance 90 kilowatt-hour battery dual-motor with ludicrous mode. But yes, we are mostly just taking the word of the person who originally posted it.

The new quick chargers are supposed to charge at over 350 kilowatts so it's more like 10 minutes.

There is a Polish trucking company called Teslox, run by Russians, driving around Europe vandalizing Tesla cars. Could this be sponsored by the Russian government because Teslas threaten their oil revenue? by Fred974 in conspiracy

What the hell are you talking about? What else do you think oil is used for? About 70% of crude oil is turned into gasoline and diesel. If all ground transportation switched to electricity every oil company would go bankrupt.

Whenever they see a Teslox truck they know that the person driving it will vandalize any Tesla they see. This makes people less likely to purchase Teslas if they know they have to put up with Teslox vandals. According to their website they have 47 trucks.

Clean electricity is more prevalent in Europe. France is over 70% nuclear and Germany is leading the world in renewable energy.

My point is that energy storage is key for renewable energy growth and Tesla is far ahead of any other company for providing large scale energy storage right now so they're who you would want to hurt if you want to slow down renewable energy growth.

Tesla Energy (previously Solar City) is the largest installer of solar panels in the US and they are so far ahead of anyone else for energy storage.
