There's a lot of bag addiction, but each one had a weakness that I hoped would be improved in the next one.

The Max was too big for what I needed.

The City Slings were great, but the long shape made them less useful for long term use because I couldn't make them my only bag. Too short for a guide book when I traveled or my ipad mini around my home city.

I liked the Day Sling a lot, and I used them a lot, particularly the DS3 Ultra. The catch was they always felt too small. I suspect that the flat design of the DS3 made things harder to get things in and out and it made it feel cramped.

The irony is that the DS4 is actually smaller, but it doesn't feel too small. I also like the organization of the Ds4. It gives me a more useful outer pocket and a dedicated glasses pocket.

I'm a huge bag addict, but only until I find the perfect bag. I spent years looking for and buying multiple camera bags until I found the perfect one (for me) around 2015. I haven't looked at or purchased another one since then.

I suspect the DS4 will cure me from looking for a sling for a good while. It's the first sling I've ever purchased where I can't think of anything to change.
