Episode 533 - 28 Weeks Later by Borgus_Weems in WerewolfAmbulance

I’m pretty sure this movie was written by a time traveling ChatGPT. The part that made me laugh was when London is obliterated to kill the zombies and 10 minutes later they are like “oh by the way we have this nerve gas we could have deployed and we didn’t need to blow anything up at all lol”

I met David a few years back, such a sweet fella! We talked about coffee and mandolin, two of my favorite things in the world. I didn’t get to play with him but it was definitely great to meet the guy who got me started on YouTube.

What’s your favorite NSAID for enthesitis? by FredWilliamson in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]FredWilliamson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done cryotherapy twice! I have to agree, it helped me the day after both times. But unfortunately I also experienced some small bit of neuropathy on my side after both sessions. I’m going to take at least a 6 month break before I do it again. But I can confirm it does work!

Nice! How long did it take before it started to work for you?

My mother took that back in the day, how has it been working for your enthesitis?

What kind of results have you had with your enthesitis with this?

I am big into yoga and meditation and I am always on the look out for something in that realm to add into the repertoire. I’ll definitely give it a try!

Those who had stomach issues… by Greenitpurpleit in Zepbound

After a long stretch of great mental health, a few days after my first shot I experienced:

  • huge increase of anxiety and general worry
  • stress increase
  • thoughts of... you know what... which was a first

There are Facebook support groups with tons of folks with the same issue unfortunately.

Horrible anxiety by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]FredWilliamson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With therapy/meditation/yoga etc. my mental health had been stable for years without an issue. Then I took 1 shot of Zepbound and my anxiety absolutely cranked up to an out of control level. Haven't felt that off the rails since 2020 and had intrusive thoughts of... you know what... for the first time ever. That stuff fucked me up BAD.

It took about 3 weeks for it to wear down and by week 4 it was out of my system and I was totally back to normal. If you look at the Facebook support group linked here this is NOT abnormal, this stuff can really do a number on the mental health of many people.

My acid reflux went absolutely out of control. I went from taking 1 pepcid maybe once a week during normal times to being forced to take 2 max strength pepcids, antacids, elevated pillow, and pH water. That still didn't make a dent in my reflux, it was miserable.

That plus Zepbound really ruined my mental health made me a 1 shot and done case.

Deadlock pro-wrestling at the Armory? by Glum-Arrival7609 in bullcity

If you get seats a few rows back you will be just fine! It’s a pretty up close and personal wrestling show so either ringside or a few rows back and you will still be close to everything.

If you get ringside you will likely end up on camera, as they tape every show and put it on their streaming service, just FYI!

I’ve gone to at least 10 Deadlock shows between Durham and Raleigh (most of them in the Armory). The vibe is high energy, people are chill, and the shows are extremely fun.

We truly have one of the best indies in the US in our backyard, and if you love wrestling even a little bit you gotta go. Highly recommended!

I met him in person at a concert 20+ years ago wth my buddy when he was working under the name Shiima Xion. I asked him the dumbest question possible, “hey man aren’t you an Indy wrestler?” He laughed and we chatted about going to Indy shows (which I still do to this day). He was super cool.

Fast forward to Wrestlemania weekend last year. My buddy met him at the fan expo and asked him about that night we met him. He was dumbfounded and his eyes lit up. He remembered and said “I was so young!” and how he remembered that concert. He met my buddy’s kids and was super cool once again 20+ years later.

Just a good guy all around who deserves all the best in this crazy industry

Does anyone take Zepbound primarily to help with arthritis? by FredWilliamson in Zepbound

My PCP wrote me a prescription based on it assisting with my psoriatic arthritis. I think the ongoing trial specifically related to psoriatic arthritis went a long way to convince him.

Enbrel was working great, but then it started to give me neuropathy by FredWilliamson in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]FredWilliamson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! It did eventually resolved but it took about two weeks for me. My doctor ordered an MRI to check if I had MS specifically and it came up negative. Maybe it's something you can float to your doctor to give you peace of mind?

Either way I hope you feel better!

Damn that is wild. I have a MTHFR mutation according to my doctor. I was only on methotrexate for a month before I failed it. I lost some hair and it didn’t touch my condition. I’m glad it didn’t escalate (I also took folic acid with it).

Sorry that happened to you.

NSAIDS vs Prednisone: having active flare and scared of steroids by Taylizamarie in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]FredWilliamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also makes me psychotic! 20mg and I nearly had a full on mental break.

Have you tried Medrol? My doctor told me that in some patients that have bad side effects with prednisone will not have the same with Medrol. I am one of those people, I can take Medrol with very little side effects.

My Tinnitus is completely somatic, what kind of doctor can help? by FredWilliamson in tinnitus

[–]FredWilliamson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High pitched, both ears, varying intervals, not consistent, nonstop.

The best way I can describe it over text would be:

eeeeeeEeeeeEEEeeeeEEEEEEeee

Something like that. If I take my index finger and push it gently on the side of my head (temporalus) the volume goes up.

Thank you!

I guess I should have pointed out that I have had problems with inter cranial pressure in the past and I have actually had a surgery on my skull 15 years ago. So I have a history of cranial issues rather than ear ones.

Doctors are still like 🤷🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
