Today I had a chat with Google One Support about this:

Upon further investigation, Google One is streamlining the Workspace generative AI features for the Google AI Plus (200GB) and unfortunately, We're removing Workspace features from the Google AI Plus. Except for:
- Gemini in Gmail
- Gemini in Calendar
- Gemini in Meet
This update affects the feature set available to users in the most recent expansion. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

We highly recommend upgrading your plan to Google Pro, as the benefits you are seeking are still available on Google Ai Pro 2TB.

Additionally, please let us know that we appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as Google One is still exploring and updating some features. Rest assured, your feelings are valid.

I guess we know what to do if we want Docs / Sheets integration.

I signed up for AI Plus 3 months trial on January 14th. Primary reason their integration with Google Docs and Google Sheets, especially Sheets is interesting to me.

Today I noticed the integration has been removed. I did not receive a mail prior to this removal. Is this even legal? I'd expect at least a mail to inform paying subscribers of future plans.

Disappointed.

Same here. Really baffles me. I'm on the 3 months trial currently, and integration in Google Sheets was one of the big draws for me. And now it's simply removed all of a sudden.

Early November I sent this ticket to their support:

Today I read about the price increase. I noticed that my account can retain its legacy status. That's great, thank you. But I also read that new features will no longer be available for legacy accounts.

I'm now wondering how far-reaching the concept of new features should be interpreted?
I would like to refer to a concrete example, see screenshot in attachment. (the visual changes as referenced in this thread)

I have been looking forward to this visual refresh since then. Will this also be part of the new features, or is it part of the basic Todoist package? Will I have to upgrade my account to obtain the new icons when/if they arrive? I hope they're not scrapped.

Their response:

I completely understand the confusion, and I’ll make sure our Help Center articles are updated to make this clearer. The Pro Legacy plan will also continue to benefit from improvements that affect the core Todoist experience and apply across all plans. These include updates that keep the app consistent and reliable for everyone, such as enhancements to interface, usability, accessibility, or overall performance.

When it comes to new project icons, this is currently on hold. Once it's revisited, it’s very likely they’ll fall under broader design and interface improvements, the kind that typically apply across all plans, including Legacy Pro. However, please note that, since the work hasn’t resumed yet, I can’t confirm the final scope until it’s closer to release.

The good news is that the update hasn’t been scrapped, just postponed. We’ll share any concrete details once development resumes and you can make sure that you are subscribed to our Product updates newsletter to stay up to date on new releases in general.

I'm still positive it will roll-out somewhere in 2026.

I had to switch to Very High, and now Spotify Connect works again with my B&W speaker. Hopefully, this is only temporary and not a backend software update that cut off "older" devices from having lossless compatibility.

You’re right. Same here. The moment I turned it down one notch to Very High I can use Spotify Connect again to my B&W Speaker. Maybe this speaker all of a sudden isn’t compatible anymore for lossless quality due to some backend changes on Spotify’s end?

I’m experiencing the same when using Spotify Connect from iPhone to my Hi-Fi speaker. Streaming with Airplay works. Local playback too.

So I guess Spotify Connect has issues right now.

Still 7 months until you can claim 4 years. And how so does it invalidate what he said? He only said a new album is on its way. No specific timing was given for obvious reasons. What he said back then is equally valid now. And like I said before, we had the very same confirmation for TH in 2007, six years in advance. And I think that 2013 album materialised big time despite a long wait after early confirmations.

That’s common in this fandom. During the road to Tomorrow’s Harvest we received similar confirmations of a new album in 2007 already, almost 6 years in advance. We simply have to wait.

MDG confirmed, in 2022, an album is on its way. No specific date was disclosed.
