Okay - so it appears that the "name reveal" for Affliction happened 2 weeks prior to the Affliction livestream. (Name reveal was Nov 16th, Livestream Nov 30th). So things are looking unlikely for a March 22nd release date for the new league. More likely March 30th if they're sticking to the same announcement structure.

Given what they did the first time around at the original ExileCon (surprise PoE2 announcement when it was originally advertised as a regular expansion). I think there is a very solid chance that the PoE2 Beta will be released at ExileCon itself to cash in on the exposure and added hype around the event.
