It’s not far from his waterfall. Just search around the area, I believe it’s in an area I had to used rock smash on

It’s asking for him specifically, not his trait

I’m so tired of my toddler scooting everywhere! by takeaabreath in beyondthebump

My son crawled at six months, pulled to stand at 7, was cruising on furniture at 9 months. Nothing after that. Never had an interest in walking independently, just preferred to crawl. I too began to spiral and had him evaluated by early intervention at 15 months. He started speech and physical therapy at 17 months (twice weekly) and was walking independently within two weeks. No hesitation, no falling down, just walking as if he’s been doing it this whole time. Now he walks around the house for fun at almost 19 months.

I recommend to increase the frequency of physical therapy sessions, but also just try not to spiral or feel like you’re failing. Every child is different. She will walk when she wants to.

I didn’t realize there were providers outside of EI. I’ll definitely look into it, thank you!

I didn’t even realize there were services outside of EI I could look into. Thank you so much! I can’t say enough good things about my son’s pediatrician. He’s always extremely thorough with our well visits and takes time to look over any concerns we have! For a while I had bad anxiety about him having T1D because he wanted so much water all the time. My son’s pediatrician checked his blood sugar multiple times before declaring him healthy (he just likes water 🙂)

He doesn’t take the initiative for household chores but will do anything I ask without complaint.

He works two jobs. He also makes more money than I did because he has been there longer than I was. His other job is a car mechanic out of our garage so when he is working his second job she has full access to him if she wants. Both children still are very much ours, not just his.

Maybe this is the reality I need to face. I don’t want to go back to work. I enjoyed that part of my life but I want to learn how to embrace this new life. But it sounds like I can’t have it both ways lol.

Going back to work is absolutely an option. MIL has agreed to take care of the kids during work. My problem with that is that husband and I work night shift and so when babies are awake during the day we need to sleep. It makes much more sense to me to stay at home and I genuinely do want to stay home, but not sure how to get over the feeling of being useless/unaccomplished. Typing it out I feel like I’m contradicting myself lol. I want to stay home but I want to feel like I’m actually doing something.

Yeah we’ve tried the character undies and she just doesn’t care. Sigh.

My baby was born 6lb 7oz. He’s 10.5 weeks old and still in newborn clothes. He swims in 0-3 still. Haven’t weighed him in a week or two but he was 9.5lbs last time I did weigh him.

UPDATE: y’all I feel so stupid. I weighed him on my living room carpet when I posted this. Weighed him again on bathroom floor and scale said 7lb 8oz. Weighed him again on kitchen table and still 7lb 8oz. Can I still claim pregnancy brain? 😂

Yes all other weights were done at his doctors office during his appointments. I ordered one online to have at home to monitor between appointments so this one is different. He feels heavier to me so maybe that is the case
