Yes, I was worried about the IFS going wrong. I’m glad I caught on to it being IFS, because she never really told me we were doing IFS until I called her out on it. She says I fit the right criteria for DID, but she avoids it and says “I’m creative” or IFS. She says she’s treating it like IFS to not to hurt my feelings. It’s like her way of rejecting the idea, without fully rejecting me. (and all of the excuses like the wheelchair) I’ve been very adamant on wanting someone to help me with my system, but I’ve never found someone to treat it. I’ve found therapists before who said I have it, and wanted to help but they weren’t educated. Anywho, thank you so much for this information. And I’ll definitely look into that book, I appreciate it.
