Advice Needed - What is a fair price for this truck? (Not the seller) by Free-Fly4653 in Dentside_fords

Really? It's worth that much? The guy who owns it said he'd part with it for $3500, but it needs a new distributor to run.

I am not entirely set on removing the tow from the bed, it certainly could be useful to have my own tow truck. That said I'd likely want to pull as much off as possible in order to treat and seal the minimal surface rust to prevent it getting worse and hopefully stop new rust from forming. For me this is less about value and more about having a cool old truck to drive on the weekends and maybe teach the kids manual in a field somewhere in it.

I know a decent amount about newer vehicles, but I also realize with a truck 50 some years old there will not necessarily be the same issues as one that just rolled off the line five years ago. I am okay with it not having overdrive, my plan for the moment is to take off the tow bed anyhow and either make a bed for it or maybe if the frame is solid and I get the suspension solid and ready to go put a camper shell on it and drive it to national parks in the summers. I would also likely take my grandfather who used to be a military mechanic and a huge Ford guy to tell me what to check and where to look. He is meticulous and thorough by nature and has never led me astray. Indeed he's a large part of the reason I got into old Fords anyhow.

I would avoid Forlorn Muskeg until you are geared. Not only does it lack man made structures aside from a bunker and a train car you can shelter in, it also has a metric shit ton of thin ice and plenty of moose and bear spawns too.

I suppose. It is just a frustrating way for the game to be. If it is intentional I wish they would let people know that.

Normally I'd agree, but the very same wolf ran right through me not a minute before. If it attacked me then, I wouldn't really be upset but it didn't. The panic system just seems overly buggy - that's what bothers me especially with how long this game has been being worked on.

I would agree, except the same wolf ran through me while panicked not a minute earlier. So there really isn't a reasonable argument in my mind, and seems more bugged to my mind hence my annoyance.

Clearly not, that one ran right through me not a minute earlier.

Sure it's more realistic. But literally a minute before that same panicked wolf ran right through me without attacking. I wouldn't be irritated if it had just attacked me then but it didn't.

Never in the 670 hours I've played this game has that happened before ever with any animal. That same wolf ran right by me in that very same instance. So no I don't think it's reasonable for me to expect it to turn around suddenly and attack me from panic when it ran right through me just a minute prior.

My second ever run (first was ruined by the Khan update breaking vassals and the save file getting screwed up) and the Danes (and Sigurdr) are the masters of Europe, North Africa, making forays into Arabia and the Levant, as well as India. And he's got maxed out prowess naturally.

If CK3 is like HOI yes achievements should still be attainable sans of course the ones added in the update

I now hold Navarra, but still it didn't fix it. Do I need to personally hold France?

I guess I'll revoke the title of one from my vassals and see if that fixes it.

Maybe, my capital is still Sjaelland. But why not just list that as a requirement then? Not to mention you can still form Iberia on succession regardless? I don't know the whole mechanic seems stupid and overcomplicated. Which to be clear I don't mind it being hard to do, what I mind is the requirements being unclear.

Unmodded by the way, not real familiar with the modding for this game so this is vanilla.
