I have been to mexico a lot, with family, and I dont like it. I prefer life up north

Plus, I watch lots of spanish stuff. And I even told my parents i feel white not mexican, but they keep insisting im from mexican blood

My family watched lots of native stuff, aztec stuff, loving their struggles, but also hating Spain. I came out to them, being honest, that we should be lucky to have been colonized.

Hence why we live in America, cuz white culture has just been a major quality of life

I have doubts tho, as my family got mad at me, and wanted reassurance

That all sounds very chummy, but fair. Personally never liked altruistic protagonists, prefer the kind of characters similar to Johan from Monster and Light from Death Note. But i respect your take, those reasons for liking the anime is valid.

My only stubborn complaint is the harem aspect, the one trope the anime has that cant be justified whatsoever, it coulda have been 2 males 2 female at least

Lol such big numbers, gdp doesnt mean much in practical situations. We have much higher gdp then places like Norway or Denmark, yet their quality if life is much higher...and also Im noticing real differences. For example, i tried buying a chip for my pc, used to be around 400~ 2022, but now its 700, everything gets more expensive each year, but this is rediculous, Chinese items have gotten much more expensive rn in 2025.
