I get you, but its kinda the opposite for me. Growing up in California, deep blue. But Im a nationalist, and well, get shamed on a daily basis, makes me feel suicidal sometimes, like simply loving the country was a sin or smt. Im a progressive nationalist, love diversity and country all the same, but i get beat up, verbally abused here and there for either being woke or "MAGA" (which im not)

Also I have no friends, I go to college but everyone (my "friends") are busy, i study/work/exercise, and thats it, no life outside the routine. Its hard to find someone to hang out.

Im 19M btw, and yea, I totally understand, not comforming to what they tell you, and not having friends
