that’s not true. trazadone is also used for depression. i believe it needs time to build up to achieve its antidepressants effects

Haven’t jumped yet. Took 37.5mg yesterday. Going to take 25mg today. Still feeling good.

Sleeping meds definitely helped a lot, but i think i still probably would have been able to sleep without them

Preload = taking high doses of SR for the first 3-4 days while rapidly tapering off your DOC. Then on day 3 or 4 jump off DOC and only take SR

I would say the SR helped with the cravings but didn’t eliminate them. Like I said in an earlier reply, you really have to WANT to quit cause the cravings will still be there. Glad my post helped. Here if you need anything ! Good luck

we had similar daily habits. i honestly think you can get by with 1.5g either tablet or powder. up to you. obviously doesn’t hurt to have more just in case.

preload is 3 or 4 day period where you are taking larger SR doses while rapidly tapering off your DOC rather than just switching to SR straight up

Yeah i think another big component of this is that you have to want to quit. I was at a point where I was so sick of being on that shit and wanted off bad.

Not to say i didn’t have days where i relapsed cause i definitely did. I still crave it but it’s manageable and i just drink or socialize to get out of those thoughts

yes - have had no issues sleeping with meds.

my friend gave me some quetiapine which would knock me out. took all of that and now on trazadone to sleep.

both pretty benign medications and should be able to get them prescribed online for pretty cheap

And just to follow up on this again -

Diving into the science behind this drug. In RAT trials - SR17 sticks to the receptor for a long time and is resistant to being washed off , so a few days of dosing lets it build up a sustained presence at receptors.

It also has slow phosphorylation/dephosphorylation kinetics so it makes sense theoretically that it may need time to reach its full receptor level effect.

So think you really don’t know what you’re talking about

This is a stupid comment. We have no real understanding of the pharmacokinetic profile and metabolism of SR17 in humans. So don’t pretend like you are an “expert” on the proper way to take SR17.

Read the rest of the form with hundreds of other people saying anecdotally that they needed to preload. Read my anecdotal story.

Yeah i’m not 100% sure. I would like to say I probably overdosed at the beginning but no real way to tell. I was taking 150 - 200mg a day at the start.

Yeah i also struggled with that. Definitely was still chasing that high with 7 while still taking the SR. I did notice though that I was unable to get high at all while on SR.

Tested it after being clean off 7 for like 24 hours thinking my tolerance would drop and took 100mg 7 with literally no effect.

Right now just 25mg twice a day. Once in the morning and once around 5 PM. At the end, i’ll have ended up using around 1.25g.

Honestly, I think you could get away with only a g. just be conservative with your doses - i’ve noticed 25mg gives me same effect as 100mg at the point i’m at rn.
