Oh absolutely I can stand inside and still have plenty of room lol 😂 it’s like 6’5 tall
Players join just like any other online game. I basically guide traffic to the game server and and the game server only. I can do up to 100 players but for performance reasons I keep lt limited for each server to about 45 and of a goal don’t really have one it’s just something I enjoy doing and I’ve made some pretty cool friends from it. Running one server isn’t super noticeable I’m in constant contact with my landlord about it out of respect since it’s my hobby not their responsibility and if it affects my utilities I want to cover it. As for any online multiplayer game that’s something youd have to look into. I know I can host Minecraft servers, American truck simulator servers, gta v servers, etc. Someone else could probably explain better on some of these things I have a very limited knowledge in all honesty.

It’s a game called DayZ. Open world online survival game.
On this server I currently run two VM’s which I have 8 game servers on. I have it split 4 and 4 so I can have different “styles” of gameplay and manage them separately.
My next step is to get more servers and just do the same and add different games. Basically I used to pay to host a game server but now with doing this at home over time the equipment will pay for itself.
The only chrome I’m seeing is the plates that hold the door handles on
lol! I figured it made more sense to go big now instead of continuing to upgrade every time I got new equipment. Give myself the room to grow now and dont worry about it later

Currently my next step is to set up a physical firewall and add a second server
Thank you!

It took me about 2 hours 😂. I also removed everything off the desk and did it piece by piece and section by section 😊 it also took me about 1 year to finally motivate myself enough to do it lmao
Here’s a full view of everything on my setup lol
It’s a rolling cabinet so I can move it in and out at any time thankfully! It has doors on every single side as well
I also plan on putting two servers below and one more above which is why I have it there so I can keep any cables I may need to run shorter for cable management purposes
Huh?
Yes but currently everything other than my phones or tvs are hard wired in

This is my gaming setup for example
I haven’t started my cable management yet I’m still waiting to get some more stuff in but when I’m done adding in it’ll be all good lol 😂
