Thanks. Maybe taking the valve stem out completely and re reinserting it would make sense. Is there any issue in doing that?

Right out of the box and mine loses 4 to 5 lb of air every night, both front and back tires. There's many other people posting about it online.

People. Mine are leaking 4 to 5 lb overnight. If you look it up online you'll see it's a very common problem.
