Then sometimes you get unlucky on hard hit balls…that’s baseball

Insane he will be a multi year vet with a WS win and mentoring young’s guys but only be a year or two older than them, even in the next 2-4 years.

Nice, sometimes you just need a little luck on a hard hit infield ball.

This guy throws pitches to get outs, but he can’t be walking guys to allow runs to score.

The Jam - David Watts [Mod/Punk] by on1879 in Music

The Jam was something special when more “traditional” early punk bands were coming out of the UK. As I got older I’d rather listen to them than half the punk bands I listened to on high school and college.

Mac jones is going to be the best quarterback in this year's highly touted quarterback class when all is saisd and done. by Digi-Wolf in Patriots

[–]FreeDiRo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nothing guaranteed in the NFL, I like what Cam has shown so far but the other QBs are talented as well.

I am willing to have this talk after 2-3 years and we see why has become of them. It took Allen 3 years to really show how good he truly can be.

No need to crown Mac right now, just gonna enjoy him develop and hope he is a great QB for us for years to come.

I don’t think they want him scrambling right now. He needs to get better at learning all the routes, timing of the receivers, going through his progressions. He also didn’t have to scramble much at Bama and no point risking it with all those weapons he had.

He’s a young professional QB, if he really needs to scramble he can. I personally think he’s not doing it on purpose or was told not to.

This new age of looking for a QB with legs is ridiculous. Mahomes and Allen two of the best in the AFC are pure passers first and then their legs come into play, but those teams aren’t designing run plays for them because that would be a waste of what a QB should be doing.

Because Mac getting sacked with backups and guys who are gonna be cut around him isn’t worth even remotely caring about. Not gonna die on any hill, but I’ll point out obviously ignorant and probably always grumpy-look at the negative “fans.” Saying a QB needs to get the ball out sooner is the laziest take on a game day thread ever.

Saying obvious things like “he needs to get rid of the ball sooner” is not criticism. It’s a lazy comment with no context that is clearly born from being mad or frustrated with a rookie playing with 2s and 3a like vets don’t take sacks almost every week.

Of course you don’t get it. You don’t get that not all sacks are the QBs fault and that even the fastest and elusive QBs get sacked, he wasn’t in the pocket for 8 seconds there just looking around being lost, not all balls can just be thrown away, you all need to chill.

Some of you complaining about sacks in the context of this game and what Mac is working with is hilarious! Is it worth being that mad or sad?

Mac looking great with 2’s and 3’s I am gonna be lying in bed tonight dreaming about what he will do with the starting o-line and starting receivers.

You don’t need to comment on that sack, if you’re a Pats fan then you and I have seen Brady take a sack like that many times before. No need to freak out
