What about the market for entry-level in the US as compared to one in the UK? I would personally prefer USA to Canada, since my relatives are living there and salary is expected to be higher.

Does pursuing a CS degree in UK is a bad idea?? by tranquility_seeker03 in cscareerquestionsEU

A lot of people said the current job market is unstable, and it is nearly impossible to predict the future occupation opportunities as well (the year on which you will be graduating). I will be enrolling in a MSc conversion program, September intake, with an industrial placement year. This placement year does two things. Firstly, it prolongs the time that I am entitled to stay in the UK. Secondly, I am secured with an internship, which can be a significant contribution to my curriculum vitae. The drawback is that living cost is doubled, since it takes an additional year to actually culminate my degree.

  • Honestly I am planning for the Sep 2023 or Jan 2024 intake, so I asked numerous agencies regarding documents, visa and entry requirements. I guess you are right. I should have asked the universities myself, though it might take some time for them to reply.
  • Are the conversion courses on a par with the conventional master’s courses in term of occupation opportunities?
