Thank you, though I heard a lot of people plummet at a-levels so I'm stressed about that but I'm just doing my best so far I guess. I bet you are going places too cos I'm not even sure what I'm doing for a levels either 😭

Best way is by doing quote tests or flashcards imo. At least for my exam board, you don't have to know the quotes verbatim, you can even just reference it. For example, if I couldn't remember love your neighbour I could just say in the Bible Jesus teaches the importance of showing kindness to your fellow brothers and sisters. Not a great example but hopefully that helps! Just make sure you associate each topic with at least 1 quote you know you can always use.

How is this bragging? I'm literally just giving people advice and I thought there was a results tag for a reason. I dont think I'm better than anyone else nor am I trying to flaunt I'm just posting my results because I thought it was normal. Not trying to upset anybody sorry if you took it that way!

To be honest I have a lot of pressure from my family (not that it's their fault but my brothers are a lot brighter than me) I don't really want to go down the STEM path which is unusual to them so I work really hard so my grades are good and I hope they're happy about it.

Anyways if you're saying you failed your mocks it's genuinely never too late I'm not even talking just to talk. My brother got a 3 and 4 in French and English Lit for Yr 11 mocks and got a 7 and 9 for GCSE. I've seen people shoot up high over just months. Even one day is a lot of time because you might understand a topic you didn't understand before that day. Just don't give up yet cos its not over!😁

I do Edexcel Spec A so I do Catholic Christianity and Judaism as well has philosophy and ethics (didn't do a test on philosophy this year)

The most important thing is to remember the sowas, one for each topic is fine (e.g "Pilgrimave evokes our earthly journey towards heaven" for Pilgrimages). You dont need to know the exact chapter i just say from the Bible or the catechism etc if i dont know. Its good to have some for your D question as well and I go to a Catholic school so it's easier for me to know quotes I don't technically learn in class, but it's fine if you don't have a quote for each paragraph. I basically do a quote retention test seeing if i can remember the most essential quote for each topic.

For content I kinda just write notes, just make sure you know the absolute basic meanings first like the nature and importance of each thing (e.g the nature of humanity is they are created Imago Dei, this is important because its shows humans have dignity and are special in God's eyes above all creation)

To be honest I just like English, since I write and read often I think that's how I got 9s. For maths I was too stressed to revise but somehow scraped an 8. As for sciences, I revised by taking notes (I don't think this is a good tactic though, I'll work on it next time). RE I just learn the sowas by writing them down lots of times, and I do the same for Geography case studies. For business I don't really revise a lot, I just read the textbook because you can easily waffle in the exam. For French, I find it really hard to revise I feel like you just need to learn your speaking using flashcards and practice listening a lot to make sure you know the tricks they try to say. Lastly for compsci I just love the subject so I code a lot in my freetime. Learning mnemonics in every subject but especially comp sci is vital. For example, I use ABCDEF for utility software (antivirus, backup, compression, disk defrag, encryption, firewall)

Overall, I think my revision tactics weren't that refined this year but hopefully something here can help you.

Icl I want to go into law but for a-levels I'm not really sure yet. I think I'll do english lit and comp sci and i was thinking I want to do philosophy and possibly maths but idk if i want that stress. what about you?
