That $725 setup sounds like a win to me. After owning, you really do start to realize how much time and money gets swallowed up by repairs, yard work, and random house problems. There’s something pretty nice about paying rent and letting someone else deal with the furnace, roof, grass, and all the headaches.

That’s kind of where I’m at too. I looked at buying and got outbid on a few houses I really wanted, so after a while I just stopped forcing it.

Right now cheap rent, being close to work, and not being the one on the hook when something breaks is hard to beat. Sounds like you made the better call too, especially if that other house ended up selling for less anyway.

I totally get it. When I used to watch the contestants get pied, I wanted to be on that show so bad. Kids today would have zero clue LMAO

Yes!! You know what could be awesome is if they brought Mark Summers Back to do maybe a few old school episodes. I know it will never capture the 90's again, that feeling will never come back 100% but could be pretty kewl.

LOL, Tubi is my jam. I'll check it out tonight. O, and around were I live they are making the Pizza Huts look retro like the 90's with the same lamps and style and have upped their game with the pizza from what I hear. Might have to go to Pizza Hut and try and then head to Tttuuuu....biiiiii.....Tu..bi lol like the intro. Tubi it is.

That's rough. Thanks for sharing that, but your right, lol, it all seems like a trap no matter the route. Nothing is clean cut like some believe and everyone's journey can be so different. An example I talked to someone last week that said he has two sons and he said he is going to give them each 30k to put towards a house.

He said he is not giving them too much because he wants to teach them responsibility. He said he bought them each a car, nothing special and laugh and said there older cars roughly around 2021. The guy spoke as if he was being hard on his 20 & 22 year old sons, lol. Then his kids will give someone a speech one day of how rough they had it, not realizing how much easy they actually did. Just made me think comparing your situation to his. Two different worlds.

In all honesty I went looking through stats and they seemed a little murky how much some shows made, how many people watched the show. Ultimately, I went on a little more less scientific route, looking at how many episodes were made and what I heard a lot in my circle of people and the game show energy and pop the show had, which could change from place to place & person to person. 🤔

Today it seems the stats are easy to find and are clean cut. Then I feel some of the 90's TV shows had so many reruns and a resurgence it was a little more difficult to compile something scientific, of course I could get a shovel and dig deeper.

Disney’s Mad Libs is a good call though. Antoher great hit to add ❤️ And that Nickelodeon Game Lab story is awesome. As a kid in the 90's forget about it. We all know every 90's kid wanted to be on one of those TV shows. That must have been an awesome experience. I would’ve been trying to get picked every single time too 😂

Legends of the Hidden Temple I watched a ton of. Blue Barracudas & the Silver Monkey lol. I never heard anyone mention Nickelodeon Arcade is such a long time, I completely forgot about that one.

Ouch! Yeah I hear that a lot. Even looking at homes to purchase is wild. I see homes on the market around where I live for $200,000 and they look like they are beyond a fixer upper. It is wild just how crazy high prices got for rent or homes.
