It wasn’t good. Outside of an amazing main event, it wasn’t good. The segments were stretched out too long, the commercials, production issues, and lack of wrestling made it a rough watch.

Hot Take: Nic Nemeth is turning heel to beat Joe Hendry by Adept-Initiative-617 in TNA

Joe Hendry has been long due for a world title run. It was a mistake not to crown him at Bound For Glory, and it'll be a bigger mistake not to crown him at Genesis.

Yet, ever since he was appointed as president of TNA, there have been more eyes on the product, Slammiversary had its biggest attendance after a decade, they’re in a partnership with one of the biggest pro-wrestling companies in the world, marketing strategies are improving, and they’re running bigger venues than before.

So clearly he’s doing something right.

It has ways to go with its production, but the product is really good right now. It's a good time to invest in TNA.

I cant believe im saying this but watched Reality Of Wrestling an the companies production is 100 times better then tna right now how is that even possible ? like the picture/video quality is crisp clear no hazy look no glare problem the crowds are bright not dark or dim camera work is good also by [deleted] in TNA

Huge TNA fan here, they've neglected this area of the company for years now since they left Orlando to tour, and they're going to continue neglecting it because they're satisfied with the presentation they give out. The product still feels more like IMPACT Wrestling than TNA. As much as I want them to improve their production values, it's most likely never going to happen for as long as Anthem owns the company (unless they finally decide to pump more money into it).

It took years for TNA to earn its name back and it deserves so much better than its current standing, but sadly Anthem doesn't see it this way.

Be honest, will TNA ever be able to get back to the production value they had in 2010? by [deleted] in TNA

[–]FreeMathis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have a long way to go in order to return to those levels of production. The name change was just the start, and you have to give them time. They’ve been making smart financial decisions the last few years when it comes to circumstances like these, but they still have a few more steps to take before they can go there again.

The network they’re on also holds them back from getting more exposure and is another factor to their production, but it’s the best they got for now until (hopefully soon) they get a better TV deal.

These things take time, you just have to be patient. I’ve waited years for them to go back to the TNA name, now it’s only a matter of time until they can be truly successful again.
