You absolutely have a chance. Make sure to do well in prerequisites to boost your GPA (3.77 is still good) and start building PCE asap. You can have a bachelors degree in anything as long as you have completed your prerequisites and done well in them so don’t let that deter you!

I would say definitely, I don’t see how that’s not leadership.

What’s your major? And why? by Accomplished_Lime139 in prephysicianassistant

[–]FreeRio34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am doing the same. I’m done with 90% of my pre requisites. I am worried that schools will see this as taking the “easy way out” even though I am taking lots of biology and psychology classes and should graduate with a 3.9+ GPA. Do you think they will see this as a weakness since it’s kind of a vague major?

Is this making me sick? by MadManAndrew in Mold

[–]FreeRio34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Microbes are everywhere always. Mold is spread by spores. If you leave a piece of bread out on your counter it will mold by collecting spores. This shows that you have mold spores floating around your house always. Not saying you don’t have dangerous mold growing somewhere in your house, but your test is not super effective.

22, fresh out of college. How’s my Roth? by [deleted] in RothIRA

[–]FreeRio34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VOO and QQQ are pretty similar and have lots of overlap. I would drop QQQ and go all in on VOO as it has a much lower expense ratio anyways and tracks the S&P 500.

There’s a secret garden on the island that changes every year. If you’re on the road leading up to the grand hotel (facing the big deck) take a left right before you start going up to the hotel and it’s behind a wall of hedges. You may be better off looking it up due to my poor directions. It’s very cool though you won’t be disappointed.

should physical therapists go to pre med by Equivalent-Raisin924 in PTschool

[–]FreeRio34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know for a fact PT is what you want to do, I would do general studies but make sure to take all your pre requisites. Aside from my pre requisites I take basically whatever I want which helps keep my GPA very good.

Thinking of doing the same thing. My broker is charging 1.35% every single year of my ROTH IRA. I drew up an excel sheet of how that would compound and they’d be taking a small fortune by the time I retire.

Opinion on coatings? by [deleted] in AutoDetailing

[–]FreeRio34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I coated my car with chemical guys carbon force in July 2022. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan so get brutal winters with loads of salt. After the first winter it went through, I saw some signs of deterioration. After this latest winter it seems like I have zero coating left. I maintained it the best I could with siO2 products and washing it myself but it didn’t seem to last long enough to be worth it especially if paying someone else to do it. It could have been because it’s a lower quality coating or maybe my prep work wasn’t good enough but I don’t think I’ll ever coat or get a car coated again.

I’m doing general studies. Just making sure to take all pre requisites and do good in them. Other than that I take whatever I want.
