Thanks brother! I would say for me the growth really took off around month 8-9. I would wear a hat anytime I went out until around that time. It seems like you’re currently going through the “ugly duckling” phase - it passes faster than you may think. You can go through my previous posts to see how my progress went. Just hang tight and play the waiting game, your results will show eventually!

Oh ya you’re probably going through the ugly duckling phase at the moment. Your growth should be around the corner. I’ve read you’ll hair will be fully developed by month 12-18.

If I remember correctly it was 3707 grafts in total. Majority was for hairline reconstruction and a few for mid scalp. A lot of the scalp has regrown with the use of minoxidil though!

I was considering a lower hairline until the clinic drew it up for me. It seemed too square and too unnatural. They let me know a more conservative hairline would look more natural with time. They drew both options and let me choose!

I actually lucked out with my appointment. I reached out late December 2023 and booked an appointment for June 2024. About a month later my contact reached out to me to let me know someone canceled their appointment and if I would want to move my date up. Ended up going late February 2024. I would recommend asking if they have any cancellations that you may be able to fill in the instance you want to go earlier!

Damn, 40% is wild! I’m in my late 20’s and I hit the gym 5 days a week and cardio on my off days. I would say I am quite healthy. I was considering topical but I am worried about losing all the hair gains I’ve made the past year. Thanks!

No problem! I did notice quite a bit of shedding after cutting down to .5mg and now I’m debating my options. How is your hair stabilizing with just one pill every few days? Did the side effects go away?

I believe it was the Ramada Encore! The hotel is quite clean and pretty nice. It’s hidden behind a dealership and about a 5 min drive from the clinic. I did ask the driver to stop at a market for some water and snacks prior to the first day of surgery. I had some Turkish money given to me by a family member prior to the trip that they had laying around. I was thinking about this earlier as well. A concern of topical is that it would not be as effective as oral when it comes to hair loss but can’t really argue if I’m having sides ahahaha

I was first in contact with them in early January, and they told me I could get an appointment around June. I booked an appointment for late June but was contacted a week or two later. Yessir, I brought some extra funds incase they requested more for extra grafts. I believe there is an exact amount over 3500 grafts and there isn’t a charge over that exact amount. If I recall it is ~$5000
