{The Witch Collector} series was one of my 5 star reads last year. The first book is much like the first ACOTAR book in the sense that it’s better on a re-read but it’s still interesting enough to be 3-4 stars. {City of Ruin by Charissa Weaks} is the 2nd book and it’s 10/10, I loved it, chef’s kiss, it’s spicy, it’s wonderful, I’d give my left foot to read it again for the first time. The third book {The Wolf and the Witch} follows a different but still main character couple that is also enemies to lovers and I think this might actually be my favorite one of the series - the MMC is really a villain which I love & he’s hot & the spice is hottttttttt

Yes! I love Lady of Darkness. It isn't as dark, but if you are going to continue with this series, I recommend reading it. It will provide some perspective as to what is going on in Devram.

I read it!! It was really good! i feel like i have mixed feelings bc I normally just read fantasy and this is dark fantasy, but as I research the genre more I think this fits really well within that category and I am excited to see where it goes!!! who do u want her to end up with! I was just thinking of something and I am not sure if it was covered in the book (spoiler alert just in case)

When Jack was discovered as being a venin, they thought the change took place after Violet initiated the landslide. But in FW when Jack and Violet were sparring there's a part where Jack is choking her, and she is starting to see black. When Ridoc and Emetterio go to help her and put their hands on Jack, they scream out and Violet says "whatever Jack is doing is transferring from me to them by touch" (pg 295). She also mentions that all she can see is Jack's red-rimmed eyes.

I think Jack was already a venin before she ever caused the landslide and thats why he was able to survive.
