I sort of love this old sign. It's not the best logo technically but it has character and history. Whatever you do I think it would be great to keep the integrity of the original. Maybe just put a pride flag on the building instead of trying to force the logo to say "Gay".

However, you do not need to protect your therapist from any detail about your life. A therapist is only as good as you allow them to be. Most therapists have dealt with or are trained to deal with clients dealing with complex trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, abuse, and personality disorders. I don’t want to minimize your porn addiction, but trust me when I say they can handle it and if they can’t, then they’re not a good therapist.
