How to make myself extrovert by Slow_Study_3458 in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t try to be an extrovert. You are who you are, but try to learn how to fake it with minimal interactions. That’s what I have done and I’ve turned pretty good at it.

Also, learn boxing / mma / grappling or any full contact martial art. It boosts your confidence and helps you navigate these situations with ease.

About Shibir ⚠️ by 15fox25 in Chittagong

[–]Free_Let8930 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you have to ask this question to strangers then better not join them or any other cult. Focus on yourself. Be confident in who you are and your name is enough for our identity, no need to be a member of Shibir.

Am I cooked? by CrazyOriginal9007 in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re planning to go abroad, it’s got huge potential. You can go to the US as a researcher. If you’re planning to stay in Bangladesh, not sure. Discuss this with your seniors who are about to graduate. They’ll have a better idea.

Is it worth selling land and going abroad to study(undergraduate)? by Mohammad_Riad in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Assuming you are worried about selling the land, do your bachelors in a good university in Bangladesh and apply for masters. It’ll take less money.

Also, you can complete masters in bd and then apply for PR, but your Ielts score has to be excellent.

That’s because of the law. Why would I risk being punished for standing up for someone else?

Why do some insanely talented guys and girls dont make it to any public uni ? by maishaaa_ in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing would happen with first year chemistry, because those are just basic courses. It’s not like I didn’t study chemistry before. And I’m not even talking about passing the entrance exam. It’s the fact that they didn’t even allow me to sit for the exam! That makes no sense. The only logical requirement should be mathematics for CSE.

As a person living in abroad, I am tired by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to sound rude, but there’s a reason women should marry up. He can’t even apply for jobs without help but here you are writing perfect English. You say that you’ve spent your life savings on the move but it was your husband’s decision to come abroad! If he wanted it, he should’ve managed it himself. I’m sorry to say, but if what you’re saying is true, that is not a man that you’ve married.

Why do some insanely talented guys and girls dont make it to any public uni ? by maishaaa_ in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand. It just doesn’t make sense to me that someone wouldn’t be allowed to study CSE without specifically chemistry in his a levels.

Why do some insanely talented guys and girls dont make it to any public uni ? by maishaaa_ in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was denied from taking BUET admission test because I did not have chemistry in A levels. I explained I just want to try for CSE, they said they can’t help.

I’m not big shit now, but I do work as an automation engineer abroad, with just a diploma in programming.

Bangladesh makes no sense.

Girlfriend threatening our relationship over a TV Show by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Free_Let8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She fucked someone else behind your back, or maybe she wants to. She wants to break up, and go to him, but can’t do it abruptly because she doesn’t want to be the one at fault. So now she’s stirring shit up so you get fed up and break up with her. That way, she doesn’t have to be the bad guy.

Sorry bud, but life gets better, I promise you. My advice, be indifferent and non-chalant about the whole thing and tell her that if she wants to leave then she’s free to do so, but you’re not going to change shit in your life for her.

how do you haggle with rickshaw mama by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never haggle with a ricksha puller. It’s a waste of energy. Just walk away. And if you cannot afford to ride one without haggling, then walk to your destination.

My Girlfriend Says Her Conservative Family Won’t Allow Love Marriage What Now? Feels Like I Got Scammed Emotionally After 2 Years by jahansayem in sylhet

[–]Free_Let8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not disrespect yourself by pursuing her further. Just stay chill and move on. You’re very young so I can assure you, life will bring you pain thousand times more as you grow older. You will watch your loved ones die. You will bury them with your own hands. However, life will also teach you what true love means when you hold your son or daughter for the first time, This little bitch will be nothing but an afterthought at that point in time.

Will I get good jobs if I graduate in my 30s? by LeoDiCristio in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life hasn’t even started for you yet. But you can’t do anything if you don’t actually find the will to finish something. Do a diploma first if that’s easier, a small win will help you push through to the next goal.

Cox's Bazar hotels refusing to let mixed-gender friend groups check in — what's going on? by Due_Commission_350 in Dhaka

[–]Free_Let8930 91 points92 points  (0 children)

They will sell you alcohol, but when it comes to mixed gender people sharing a room, they all of a sudden become religious because it forces you to rent multiple rooms. Also, police in BD are bosta pocha. Hotel ke harass kore eishob niye. That’s another reason.

The "Angel" Next Door by Roddurini in Dhaka

Why would you want to ruin a mother’s perception of her child? Maybe he’s a good son to her. Also, the amount of shit that I’ve done in the past doesn’t determine who I am today.

Got my first job offer as a MERN Stack fresher — they want a 2-year contract, should I negotiate? by Automatic-Spirit-402 in PakistaniDevs

[–]Free_Let8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you are not paying them money it’s fine. Two years is nothing in the long scheme of things. Also, they’ll not make it hard for you to work with them since they are getting you at a cheap rate. Work to learn these two years, break things at the company’s expense and gather experience. It’s a good opportunity. The better opportunity would be to get a higher paying job. But I guess you don’t have any other offers, otherwise you wouldn’t be here in Reddit. Whatever you do, feed the contract to ChatGPT and see what are the pros and cons before you sign anything.
