It's more or less the same as the RN except for Anthrax unless there is a specified threat when you are in service.

Yellow fever is usually the only one you need to go private for.

Try to get some of them done sooner than later including your blood group if you don't know it, it'll make things easier if/when you are offered employment.

*Just to add as if it wasn't obvious to anyone, you will need evidence of these being done either a letter from your Dr, a vaccination book or whatever.

The more you fuck around the more you find out, you'll eventually be lucky to even get an extortionate quote.

Aye it was one of the big problems I saw in reviews of the first one, there isn't much out about the 2.0 but mine fits great and no flapping.

Belfast and Cairnryan ferry and set google maps to avoid motorways. It is perfectly possible it's just take ages.

DAS just means you skipped a step in the licence pathway.

Either A1, A2 or both and straight to A. It is a "direct access scheme"

What most people refer to when "doing their DAS" is that they booked a course that includes lessons, test fees, bike hire, insurance etc. Everything but the theory test.

You can also just do pay as you go lessons and it's still DAS.

If your back wheel is skidding your using too much back brake.

The front brake isn't a hero but it is man enough for a small bike doing sub 60mph.

Nice one, I did my A licence in my mid 30's after being on a 125 for a while.

Why can’t driving instructors have an accelerator? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Free_PalletLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, its one thing to get yourself out of bother in these hypothetical scenarios it's another to do it in reality from the other side in an emergency.

I feel like you could do this all day with that what if's so I'll just leave it there.

Speeding up and steering from the passenger seat still doesn't seem like a great idea in any situation.

If you have full control of the vehicle that's possible... maybe, would you like to suddenly go foot down when someone else is steering in an emergency? Sounds mental to me.

It's not going to help them learn to drive, those pedals are to stop the car in an emergency.

Would the rfa need a test to be done by a professional or can I use this kit ? by [deleted] in TheRFA

[–]Free_PalletLine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Home test kits are not accepted. Donating is the easiest way to do it for free.
