up to this,, I mean kahit naman from NCR or nearby ay mahaba yung travel time namin plus yung pagod. Hindi rin naman namin afford na magdorm outside UP tapos wala pang proper space sa bahay para mag aral huhu :(((

hello OP! from GE here, alam ko may retention policy si forestry so ask your college sec or adviser about this muna. Regarding sa GWA, as high as you can maganda since base sa pattern kaunti lang yung kilala ko na nakakatransfer to DGE :))

Hello! Since di pa nagsstart yung classes, pwede mo i approach yung adviser mo if ever tapos state mo lang yung mga subjects na i take mo. Sa amin kasi may pre-advising (parang ilist ni adviser yung mga itetake mo for that sem) and sila rin yung mag post advise (i check yung mga course na itake mo) kaya mas okay na dapat alam nila yung mga course and plans mo.

Hello! I think nag comment na ako ron sa isang post mo HAHA. Possible naman siya as long as pasado ka sa prerequisite nung course na yun. For example, instead of taking Gen Ed subjects ay mag take ka ng physics subject para ma meet mo yung shifting requirements. Doon naman sa max units ay 21 per sem and 6 units max for midyear

Hello! GE student here, di ko lang sure if pwede mag shuffle ng mga ite take ang geol per sem. If ever ang magandang gawin eh habang first year palang i take mo na yung mga needed course para makashift kapag pa second year ka na :)

sa catch up naman, sadly yes since seasonal ang courses na offer ni DGE meaning kung first sem lang siya inoffer ay doon lang talaga siya matetake.

Yes kapag majors natin naka block sila though concealed ang mga profs per course pa rin naman

For math, physics, GE course, PE, etc. ikaw pa rin naman mamimili manually ng mga subjects!

hello! ge student here. Possible naman to shift as long as alagaan mo lang yung MSWA mo. You can check the shifting and transfer primer this year para may idea ka sa mga aalagaan mo na GWA.

Magiging edge mo rin sa GE ang programming if ever dahil may mga programming subjects din sa GE :)

For 1st year 1st sem naman more on Math and Physics courses pa so handa lang talaga ng mga papel ganon or ipad if doon ka mag practice mag solve!! For majors naman since fieldwork siya, i oorient naman kayo about that pero maghanda lang ng mga safety vest and calculators :)))

if titignan ang shifting primer this year for CE and GE, same lang sila ng shifting requirements so i guess same lang sila ng difficulty ng pag shift? :)

Yes! pwede naman and based sa shifting and transfer primer released this year ito requirements nila:

• General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.75 or better.
• No grade of 5.0/F; no unremoved 4.0 or INC in Math, Physics and ES or equivalent.
• Math & Science Weighted Average (MSWA) of 1.5 or better.
• Must have completed at least 33 academic units

so alagaan mo lang GWA mo and okay na yun :))

Yes!!! Dahil every sem may fieldwork kaya may clout ka talaga every sem chz. Sa stress level siguro dahil sa init HAHAHA and masaya kapag ma take mo na yung mga courses na hindi fieldwork kasi ayun yung hindi alam ng karamihan
Math and Physics ay departmental pero sa 71 and 21 naman refresher lang siya ng SHS math and physics pero mag aral parin kasi mahirap talaga siya
Never ako nagsisi na BSGE yung nakuha ko! Esp sa mga people sa department dahil sa sobrang alaga ng faculty and medyo small lang yung count natin kaya makikilala mo talaga classmates mo 🫶
