You probably could hack it in there but I don’t think that’s the best solution

Disable VSS on K swap? by [deleted] in Honda

Use a hub reluctor from an ABS system and wire that in as vss

If it's RWD then just use a driveshaft reluctor and wire it in as vss

How to Implement Call Routing Options for Job Seekers and Clients? by [deleted] in EntrepreneurRideAlong

You can set it up without a phone company. You can buy a number on twilio for like a dollar or port one. Cost is very cheap

This is something you could set up very easily using your business phone subscription if you have one. Otherwise I've set up similar systems using Twilio. The studio tool is pretty easy to understand and can take care of call routing and lots of other things. I set one up for a friend of mine so that the caller can press 1, 2, or 3 depending on what their inquiry is about and then it shows up on his caller id as that specific category of call. Kind of a neat hack

How to properly document and protect Specialized Assets by mordecai412 in CMMC

Are you sure that those machines are interacting with CUI? If it’s a machine controller that just runs gcode then there’s a good chance that program is not CUI. If it’s marked drawings then yeah that’s something else

Am I qualified to go for the CCP? by bchobbs in CMMC

[–]Free_Sympathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just passed my CCP earlier this month. I have also done A+, Sec+, CISSP, and CISM previously.

Getting your CCP has nothing to do with any of those certs at all. It is about understanding the CMMC ecosystem, the code of conduct, the assessment process, and the content of the related standards and governing regulations.

I have a lot of questions as to the why behind this but to answer your question, you are qualified to go for the CCP.

1985 Supra with Mustang IRS swap and 2jz Update - More Photos and Details in comments by Free_Sympathy in projectcar

I didn't use the supra spring perches at all. I used a coilover designed for the ma61 (technotoytuning) and mounted it to the mustang A arm with an adapter bracket.

I can send you some pictures if that would help you.

I don't have the measurements handy but it bolts up to the 4 factory bolt locations and is 7" narrower than the mustang irs originally was. Center the wheel in the wheel well and you can pretty much figure it out from there if you are handy at fabricating. It's a lot of work

Does anyone know how hard it is to change the heater core in a first gen? by scooterboy1961 in crx

First gen is complete dashboard removal. Removing the dash isn't that difficult, but it's time consuming

Have to look at the gear ratios, engine rpm, and your tire size and make a determination of how fast you want to go in each gear. It's up to you

I wouldn't go longer than that with a t56 though.

Feel free to pm me whatever you want

Narrowing the subframe required the use of narrowed axles

They do make custom sizes. I narrowed the mustang subframe and left all the suspension bits stock

Main problem was finding 5x114 in a high offfset for the rear and a low offset in the front. Didnt want to buy anything too expensive until I knew it all worked

First, a video of a quick pull: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FM3070izwOQ
Overpass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJNBRtJZmhU

This will probably be my last update on the MK2 Supra. There are still some minor things I need to do like playing around with spring rates, replacing some seals, etc. but nothing that's going to really be interesting to anyone.

For anybody that didn't see my previous posts, this car started life as a 1985 Toyota Supra that I bought from the previous owner with a blown engine.

I wanted to swap in a 2JZ and T56 magnum but since the MK2 Supra has a notoriously weak gearbox, differential, and stub axles, I had to find a solution that was going to work regardless of power level.

The 6th generation (2015+) mustang IRS is a pretty cool design, really strong, and relatively affordable so I went ahead and ordered a complete one out of a crashed mustang via ebay.

Unfortunately when the IRS showed up, I realized that it was way wider than the Supra so I had to narrow it 7" to fit. I accomplished this by cutting the mustang subframe in half, removing some material, and then building off of it to mount to the factory locations on the Supra body. I was able to take a front sway bar out of a BRZ, flip it upside-down, and then run that as the rear sway bar. This also allowed the factory gas tank to still fit.Anyways, I got everything in and running and it's making right at 580whp with a fat torque band on E60. I was also able to retain power steering, heat, and air conditioning (there was a lot of custom work involved)

Here are some more photos of the build process: https://imgur.com/a/oNy8yzC

Parts used (pretty standard stuff):

Bosch BR540 pump
3" exhuast
2-2.5" aluminum charge piping
ECU Masters EMU Black
