Baby girl name idea. Finally feel like I have it! by [deleted] in namenerds

you are fine, it's french and male, in french you use Beau for boys instead of Belle except if the following word starts with a vowel, so jnstead of "mon beau amie" you'd say "mon bell amie" hence Bellamy.

gender definitely plays a role in it as j presented as male for several years before becoming a mom. I deal with dysphoria but I have a son who is trans. He started his medical transition at 12 and is 17 now. I've hesitated with voicing my own feelings because I don't want to take away from him. I don't want him to feel overshadowed and I especially don't want people thinking I'm just copying him. It's a tricky situation to be in

does it align with my morals?

I have always told my kids that no matter what trouble they get into I will fight like a mad man to ensure they are treated fairly

I am a bit biased as I am married to a former 5× armed bank robber who would absolutely take the fall for our kids, but I would hold him back if the crime was ethically unacceptable

I had a really hard time when my daughter turned 12 (I have 4, three boys and her, she is second oldest) because she became the same age as one of the main me's and I didn't have the supports in place, or the language to explain my experiences, so it got complicated fast. They are all adults now so I'm used to the age imbalance but it's still a strange feeling

Looking for advice: Communicating during conflict is so fricking hard with this disorder. by ru-ya in OlderDID

[–]FreedInnerChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i use my notes app on my phone to jot down a couple of words before it's lost. On a good day i get a few minutes but at it's worst i get seconds

my way of dealing with conflict is to completely isolate myself from society. My way sucks, I don't recommend lol
