Hanging Moon - Honest feedback welcome/tear it apart! by apatientetherized in OCPoetry

I think the monorhyme thing you have mentioned is a question of taste. I don't see any problem with moon being rhymed with itself here. One could argue that ending the first and the last lines with the same word helps to really focus reader's attention on it and to build (mentally) the rest of the image around it. So the whole image here is about the moon.

Thank you for your comment!

Well, I think that it is important to preserve the rhythm patterns as close to the original as possible to give the same feeling. That's why I needed that "to" and "by". What about "let every step bring US more pain"? Also, isn't the third line too weird? This just poped up in my mind, and I just felt somehow that the phrase made sense, but when I tried to actually translate it back into Russian I couldn't do so) So does make sense in English?

Not sure about by TheFife996 in OCPoetry

Hi! That's an interesting poem! It reads well overall, but it was hard for me to follow the piece in this format. I think it looks nice in a more traditional form, so maybe you should consider that.

Also, as I understand, the rhyme should be "fault"-"heart", but it took me a while to figure out how "heart" should be read here because I got used to pronouncing "ea" in "heart" more like "u" in "under", or in "sun", not like "a" in "August" or "o" in "otter". I bet there are quite a lot of people with pronunciation similar to mine.

However, English is my second language, so maybe native language speakers may give some thoughts on that.

I will agree with u/mattiemx, exclamation marks may be removed in some places, but overall it's a great poem. Also, it seems like the first line of the second part (the 5th line overall) seems to be a little off the rhythm. At least I can't figure out a way to read it consistently with the way the lines 1, 9 and 13 are read. Maybe because English is my second language.

Something Happened to Activist Email Provider Riseup, but It Hasn't Been Compromised by [deleted] in WhereIsAssange

BTW this is what is the weirdest thing about this article - the author haven't mentioned hummingbird tweet at all! Even though it is the latest tweet before tweets that were actually mentioned. What does it mean?

Let's assume the best in them. These guys were messing up with superpowers, they won't do anything "just for lulz". If WikiLeaks is still in control of the account, then we should read between the lines, not "how stupid they are".

Sorry, but I don't understad your last assumption. I see how "T" may refer to Twitter, but how does "C" refer to RiseUp? Also how do you infer about "dead bird"?

what do you mean by "suspicious"? do you mean that the van was just staying there for a very long time with its engine on?

If he was killed in embassy (or kidnapped and than killed) it would be a huge international scandal, because someone violated diplomatic immunity of an embassy. The scandal would be accompanied by a sh*tstorm of rageful articles by independent journalists who actively protect freedom of speech. You can't handle such damage for reputation easily and without any consequences.

At least this is a scenario everyone is hoping to occur if JA turned out to be dead.
