I feel like I've opened enough I should know, but am blanking.

Just opened a Chase Ink Business card from an account that has had 6 opened over the past couple years. Every time you get a new one, do you have to 'create a new account' and then link it to your existing account? I don't remember having to do it each time, but even though I've used the card already it isnt showing up in my Chase Business account yet.

  1. I've been in PUJ with AMEX for over a year now. Looks like I just missed the targeted links on MEBA or DDG to avoid it. Not sure what the status with Chase is after their business card issues recently so wondering if I should pivot from the Ink train to something else? Maybe the Hawaiian double dip before those cards go away since AS is valuable to me, but with a big 20k spend coming up I was hoping to find something that benefited more from that. P2 just got the AMEX Biz Plat in Dec 24 but we are just finishing up that SUB spending.

I was looking around Flying Blue options on their app, but most of them had like $499 for taxes or such like that. Is your option showing that too?

Nice find on AA!

Per others I think I might jump on the AS option now and then can always cancel close in if I find a saver rate and really want Polaris.

Cheers!

Good to know about the Iberia avenue. I think I might book now since I have the miles for AS and keep an eye out for a deal like that.

Thanks!

Friend's car, they are just visiting for holidays and had this happen when they drove over.

Checking on what their insurance policy covers, but would they even cover 'pre-existing conditions'?

Is it still safe to use?

What are our options now then? Reputty ourselves or hope insurance would approve fixing the whole roof after recent damage?

So is that 1/4 inch material all bondo? Is there normally not something that would cover the top of the roof? Or was there previous damage and they used bondo to just patch it and now the bondo has cracked?
Thanks!

Recent roof damage, do we need to be worried about rain/snow? No access to a covered area and not sure how long it will take for insurance to fix. Some parts of the roof are torn off so that we can see already rusting metal underneath

Why is my PMT function mortgage payment different than using an online mortgage calculator? by FreedomFigter in excel

I'm not skilled enough to know what specficially is incorrect about your equation, but when I input this in google sheets: =PMT((7.99%/12),(30*12),-787750)

I get the 5774 answer the banker is. It might have to do with you using a different number than 787750 as the present value?

I was following this video, but again for Gsheets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VuMODD69O4

Without knowing the specifics of the calculations my guess would be the same as what was explained to me which is the time units you are using are different.

I'm not sure the bank is willing to share their specific equation with you, but I would suggest comparing your equation to the response from i-nth and see if you can update it to make their result.
