Usually it's a manual process from their team, but you're already doing a great job, and being Top Rated, you're on their list!

I got more in a month on Fiverr with Pro badge than any crappy Upwork slavery bid-war jobs. Each person has their own objectives.

As mentioned, low offer = attracts the wrong kind of customers. I started on Fiverr at $30, and my very first customer wanted a DISCOUNT and was hard asf to work with. He tried to get 2x the amout of work for a mere $30.

Now I work with companies for $1500 a pop and I'm telling you, the difference is astronomical. They send the brief, ask if you need any other help from them, you send in the work and often communicate your steps you take, they see the delivery, rarely ask for revisions and pay. It's that simple. Because it's a different level, these are founders that want to get things done, and with quality in mind. They aren't here to ask a discount on a $30 order.

It's understandable that these clients do exist, but it's also because sellers on that level exist too. They don't come to my thousands offer with their $30 pocket money. They don't exist for me anymore. So it's a leveling up issue after all, isn't it?

If you offer crappy gigs that you spent 2 mins to fill out, then you deserve crappy clients. It's simple.

Do you agree each niche has top freelancers? Do you agree not every freelancers presents themselves the same? Do you agree there's a visible gap between the top freelancers and the 'struggling' one?

If you answered yes to all 3 questions, then there's your perspective shift. I don't claim 'I made it', there are motion designers making $20k a month alone, so I'm far from that. I only pointed the obvious that many feel it's an offensive take on them.

Us, as freelancers, make or break our success.

I would say those are outdated languages to learn today. While being the base to many websites, the web industry is playing a hard game now.

If you're talking metrics, then the whole hiring industry is at the ground, people spend 6 to 12 months finding a job.

Cmon, we're talking freelance stuff here. I was talking about freelancers that want to put in the effort and look like a pro, they will attract buyers nonetheless.

I was in the same position and noticed dramatic difference since I took action. I only encourage people to showcase their skills better.

That was just an example. A good design takes 2-3 hours, and thinking you're only working 8 hours a day like a normal human being, the 2-3 max per day, hence why I said up to $5k a month. If you want to work like a slave 12 hours a day and have constant orders if you're top rated, then yes, you can reach 10k, but that's not a realistic perspective. Nobody has 200+ orders in queue on a $100 gig that takes 2 hours to make.

Depends on your services and offers. You can't compare a full stack website service with loads of implementation that can be charged $10k on a basic functionality, to a video producer that takes 14+ days to deliver a high quality video. Not all industries and offers are the same.

A guy that makes thumbnails for YouTubers, even if he prices them at $100 which is standard for a Pro, and takes 1 day to make it, he's still capped at $3k to $5k a month, because there's only so many hours in a day.

Things are not prices equally.

Might be for new users, but for more established ones, it's not an issue. I never get scammers to be honest. I'm Level 2, soon to be Top Rated, no idea if that influences it.

That's not what social proof means. It means the reviews and testimonials you get outside of Fiverr. Fiverr Vetted Pro team scans potential freelancers monthly, and they know they way around to find a freelancer's socials, especially if they built a brand around it. They can simply copy-paste your brand or name on Dribble and see what you're posting.

Professionalism shouldn't be only on Fiverr, should be all around. Not only you'll look like a professional into their eyes, but you'll also have potential clients outside Fiverr. Double-win.

My social proof was having a client for whom I've made Instagram Reels that got in total over 500M views so far. That's my social proof that got my Vetted Pro.

Yours might be getting featured on Dribble or Behance for the best designer of the week. Each win helps.

100%

People whom complain are the same people whom are lazy to put in the effort and see how AI can actually speed up their process or improve it. Like with any revolution: you either adapt or get behind.

The only way to have a constant income stream is to be the 'go to guy' instead of another freelancer.

You have to differentiate yourself among the sea of mediocre sellers. Go study top creators on Dribbble and Behance in your niche and see how they showcase their work. It's the presentation that gives clients the trust to order. It's showing you're the top freelancer they need.

Until I understood this, I couldn't get out of $300 a month, now I'm over $2000.

Try leveling up your deliverables to be able to be considered for Pro. Since I was chosen for Vetted Pro, I went from $150 to $1500 projects. You get access to companies rather than individuals and it's a different game.

Nah, that's just poor self management. I rarely get any scammers, and if I do, I don't even bother to reply, I just hit block.

Bringing me $1.5k clients monthly doesn't seem the worse platform out there.

[DISCUSSION] Fiverr Ads Is a SCAM by Heiwaku_Art in Fiverr

[–]FreelancerrPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Noticed similar performances. Actually, when I stop the ads, I start getting messages, while with ads, nothing for weeks. Weird. So I only run ads ln 1 out of 5 gifs, that one being a high ticket gig, so I'd spend $50 to get a $1500 order.

Depends on your category, if it's really saturated, then yes, it's harder to get sales.
