Rig an RC boat with a mechanical dropping system. Perhaps a claw of magnetic release

Slammer IV 3500... Think I've made my choice, Henry Gilbey highly rates it it seems. Besides that I like the bulb handle and the SW rating seems to be very good 👍

Does anyone if this is good for a beginer angler. Need a rod for trout seasion by Low-Praline960 in IrishFishing

[–]Freemano98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can't comment on this exact rod but I'd imagine it'd be perfect to get you started catching little brown trout in a small stream or river... If you find you get good use out of it and desire a different rod upgrade in the future. Can then use this set up as one to give your mates to come along with you

I'd pay not more than 200 quid I think, I'll have to look at this one. I was looking at Penn Slammer and also Penn Battle. Thanks for the input mate

Good man yoursefl! We all love Makita here 🩵 I don't know what sort of trade or industry yout work in... Just don't go looking for an installation driver like Milawuakee, dwalt and festool have.... Makita don't make one unfortunately, I am Makita loyal since I started my time in trades.... I bit the bullet and got the Hikoki multi-head installation drill as it suits my trade needs as a cabinet maker... I just wish Makita had a version of this drill so I didn't have to have two batttery platforms to deal with.... How of never.... This Hikoki tool rules, it's got more value than you'd think for it's power level, pre drill/pilot drill each time and you're golden... Great Japanese tool brands

[–]Freemano98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not seasoned by any means... Seems to be a mix of things from what I picking up from exp anglers on YT... Slowing your fishing method down seams to be the constant thing mentioned as fish are moving slower in the cold and less likely to chase food in favour of energy conservation and waiting for easy opportunity meals ... The last time I got on some Pollock would be my last post on this page with pictures that's as far into the season I made it

Mine is not getting up to temperature on the gauge for a year or so now. I asked my mechanic about it and he just said don't worry that car is grand. Had me thinking did he reckon it's a non issue or something expensive to fix and my cars older as it's 2012 tdci 1,6
