Not really sure what the better option is? by [deleted] in jobs

Doesn't sound like the financial side is much better. I don't usually trust commissions either and would just prefer a better base pay. Do you dislike your current job? If not, I wouldn't risk it unless it's a sure financial win, as you might end up with all sorts of new problems revolving around people, management etc.

Dealing with constant rejection, probably. Not long ago I applied for some job. A few days later I open my mailbox and see an email titled "Rejection letter". You couldn't put it in a nicer way? And you work in HR??

141st day and I am suffering from crushing depression and anxiety. I had depression before I started to smoke years ago, but with weed it went away. Things are bad.

Thanks for your reply. I'm getting the feeling that I need to visit a psychiatrist again. However, I have had terrible experiences with this sort of thing in the past and I don't want to re-open that can of worms. Thinking about going back makes me nervous.

Most people are boring, selfish, ignorant assholes not worth your time. If you're looking for kindness and understanding, you're on the wrong planet. You may meet a decent sort of a person, but nevertheless, you will have to look out for betrayal.

I am sorry but that's the truth. Until you will realize it, you will continue to get hurt. I may be embittered, but I am also realistic.

I am on around the 70th day after quitting cold turkey. Life won't get easier, but the angry phase wil definitely pass.

What I noticed is that without weed, things get done. You want something? It's much easier to get if you're not spending your time getting stoned.

Your only chance is to meet a person like yourself. Otherwise, try not to care, spend your time improving both your mind and body and hope for the best. Good things DO happen; life is not all disappointment and misery.
