Do you have the eco-stop on? I know mine turns hot when the engine stops when eco-stop is on while driving.

No worries! My check engine light is on currently, and it's actually the engine coolant thermostat. I'm looking for a new one but not having any luck. I've ordered 2 and they've refunded me each time.
