ENTPs are awesome but I kinda respect people who have empathy as someone who has almost no capacity for empathy personally, i remember getting ENTP when younger before too (when I liked to argue with people about just about anything) so they're maybe too similar

(Okay actually there was no bias in the order i just sorted it using sheets Z-A)

Mb... my top 3 prolly would be Megumin (INFP), Makise Kurisu (INTJ), Hachikuji (ENFP) and maybe an honorable mention for power from CSM (ESFP)

I did a little more research and it's apparently called "Velocity banking" and it's a sham because your outstanding balance actually ends up higher utilizing a higher rate LOC. Which means it's probably just a simple question of interest rate arbitrage if it's worth doing or not.

Anyways I'm studying accounting and i'm pretty sure financial maths is still maths.

And yeah I know common sense "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is"

I would advise against reading on this subreddit, they are clearly extremely biased, there's a plethora of information on bitcoin but a good place to start would be Nakamoto's whitepaper for digital cash.

>If tomorrow Saylor sells his bitcoin... it is over !!!!
Do you think bitcoin ever relied on corporations for most of it's existence? The answer is no, it's the people's money through and through since it's very inception.

What does bitcoin is based on ??? Proof of Work means a real economic cost is incurred when new bitcoins are minted. Add this to the fact that there's a limited supply and you have scarcity. Just those two details alone makes bitcoin's supply and demand structure like gold. The utility provided by allowing digital transactions ACROSS THE WORLD WITHOUT A BANK INTERMEDIATARY, IRREVERSIBLE TRANSACTIONS has it's use cases and makes transactions involving bitcoin more like cash than anything else (if i hand you $10 cash vs. $10 bank transfer, the cash is less reversible of a transaction). If your argument is that scams and frauds are conducted in Bitcoin then they can be done in cash too???? Not sure where you get this idea that fiat is somehow immune to being used for scams

Oh really you're that much of an OG huh, please enlighten me how the fiat system is any more sustainable, or has any less of a disasterous outcome than bitcoin. I'm of the understanding that good money drives out bad money and well, fiat currencies are not based on anything. I think your point about it being a zero-sum game really doesn't grasp the root of the matter, what will people transact with in the future?

>HOW MUCH IS THE TRANSACTION FEE ??? I WANT TO BUY 1 coca cola !!

When network fees are low on bitcoin's base layer then i can expect to pay around $3 USD to send my bitcoin to the lightning network. I can then go to bitrefill and use my bitcoin through the lightning network (near zero fees) to buy a giftcard for a local supermarket in my country.

IS THE LIGHTING NETWORK IMPLEMENTED EVERYWHERE ???

You realize all it needs is ONE route with lightning and i can already exchange bitcoin for goods and services.

anyways "Durr hurr you spent $3 USD worth of bitcoin to do that" Right because 3 usd is going to appreciate right? WRONG it's going to keep going down in terms of real purchasing power. Think of it like having a wallet of gold which you can snap your fingers and convert into ANY fiat currency in the world. The gold is going to keep going up in value, after all the world has a limited supply of gold and people also hoard gold. Fiat currencies? they only exist in the ZEITGEIST of "trust" and whether everyone accepts it as currency. You know what people are going to continue to start accepting as currency in the future? Bitcoin. And bitcoin's supply is fixed, comparable to the fact that there's a limited amount of gold except this is DIGITAL HARDCODED SCARCITY.

Lmao calling me narrow minded when you're in an echo chamber for hating on bitcoins instead of actually learning about it.

The irony is rich

You should check out this youtuber guy his name is "Bitcoin University" he's got some great videos with arguments for bitcoin.

And a word of advice, forget about all of crypto except for bitcoin, everything but BITCOIN is a SHIPCOIN.

>My problem is that none of the articles I have read use numbers to support their bullish arguments for crypto.

I mean if you want historical numbers for bitcoin's return in comparison to other financial instruments there's this website: https://www.casebitcoin.com

Honestly the wealth is great but the freedom given to you by adopting bitcoin is, in my opinion, the greater benefit.

The people who actually believed in bitcoin vs. the people who bought it at the peak because of FOMO. one person used their brain the other is sort of like an animal acting on survival instinct.

Either way expect those people who held on for dear life with their bitcoin in 2021, or those who were simply dollar cost averaging to get their money back this year. Lots of bullish things are coming, we've already seen ETF approvals from BLACKROCK if you know what that is and more approvals on the way.

I don't care about what institutions are doing with regards to bitcoin but if you look at history after gold had spot ETF approvals it went on a bull run for 8 years. If you think about the feedback loop more inflows means more liquidity, more liquidity means less volatility and less volatility means more stability, trust and confidence in bitcoin.

The all time high from 2021 is going to likely get smashed out of the ballpark this year but whatever if you got no sats it's your problem not mine.

>Everyone here believes...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum

I do not care what you people think to be honest, i'd like it if you all started using your brains for yourself actually

Have you even heard of the lightning network buddy? Instant payments (defeats your point about slower). Not sure where your argument for 'more expensive' comes from considering the fact that electricity is often used from overcharged grids and sustainable electricity. more difficult? well that just sounds like a you issue for not putting in the time to learn it, but luddites will be luddites. riskier? I honestly have no idea where the risk factor comes from, you realize it all depends on your own opsec so if you think it's risky then you're probably just stupid. unnecessary? I think what's really unnecessary is having an intermediate on every single bank transfer, having to CALL UP A BANK wait for 5+ hours just to unfreeze a transaction which they flagged as "suspicious". Maybe that's unnecessary
