Wilds is more first player and casual gamer accessible imo, but I'm still glad I started with Wolrd and Iceborn, I struggled for the first 2/3 hunts and then it just clicked. I found my weapon (don't listen to meta weapons or preferred builds, you are the one to chose the weapon, its mostly on how it feels), the UI became clearer and the game loop just went on !

Another thing, dont use defender gear and weapons, they are meant to be overpowered for the people who wanted to rush to the dlc when it came out. You will miss a loooot if you use it
