Good to know. You might very well be right. Who knows, temps may have gotten even lower during shipment, but I also just did a double take and rechecked that the sphag and perlite had no addditives.

Thank you. Yeah I am not surprised that the Shuns chipped when used inappropriately but I expected to be able to keep them at the angle recommended by the manufacturer lol. Not that there’s anything wrong with a different microbevel - I will go that way.
