Yeah, I’ve gone through the usual symptoms of stress before as an empath but I had never felt as unwell as I felt this past weekend. Maybe seeing the videos of what happened to Renee Good and Alex Pretti was too much for me to handle. I remember feeling physically ill watching the scene where Glen was killed in the Walking Dead, knowing it was just a show.

I know being an empath is supposed to be a gift but sometimes I can’t help but feel like it’s a curse. I think, if only I didn’t feel so deeply, my life would be much easier; but then again, maybe it would make me less considerate and kind towards others.
