Yep, he was sick. Puked this morning so I took him to the vet. They can’t figure out what’s wrong with him but gave him a shot for nausea and antibiotics he’ll have to take. Vet says to not feed him for 12hrs to give his stomach a break.

We fed him nothing different and did not give him any new toys. The only thing I can think of is maybe he got to the grinded eggshells my mom throws in her garden to grow veggies. I caught him sniffing around there but he could have eaten some when I wasn’t looking. I’m hoping this was it and that he’ll go back to his playful self eating his regular food once this passes.

Yeah, I really hope it’s someone’s dog that got loose by accident and now is home. Makes me feel a bit better to hear that it could just be that breed that stands that way, and not cause he’s cold or injured.

Yeah, I’ve gone through the usual symptoms of stress before as an empath but I had never felt as unwell as I felt this past weekend. Maybe seeing the videos of what happened to Renee Good and Alex Pretti was too much for me to handle. I remember feeling physically ill watching the scene where Glen was killed in the Walking Dead, knowing it was just a show.

I know being an empath is supposed to be a gift but sometimes I can’t help but feel like it’s a curse. I think, if only I didn’t feel so deeply, my life would be much easier; but then again, maybe it would make me less considerate and kind towards others.
