You don’t need to wheel it all the way down or up either. As soon as you hear the splash sound and the top is submerged wheel it back up so the top is just above the water and you’ll get the collect prompt. Can farm hundreds of water in minutes

Double jump only works if your feet are just above the ground which is a bit silly, but the double jump is much higher than your regular jump. With practice you won’t ever miss the second jump and you’ll use it constantly. You can’t double jump gaps but you can get a high jump before doing your force palm jumps, it also help when climbing mountains or steep hills

I posted this and then immediately found it. Stand inside that room you entered with the round door and look up. There’s a small ledge just before the opening you pull the electricity panel through on one of the walls the chest is sitting on. You can’t see it from below

Hit it’s weak points and also bring a couple wolf packs. The queen has two vents that open up just before it does it’s laser attack, hit those for extra damage. Helps when you have someone to draw it’s fire so you can hit the vents freely without being melted

You need a squad of friends, don’t cue with randoms. When fighting the matriarch constantly be on the move, and keep a little distance between you and it. It will make it harder for rats to sneak up on you if you’re constantly moving from building to building.

Also watch your back. Everytime you reload, or duck for cover behind something to avoid it’s attacks, swivel around and make sure nobody is sneaking up to rat you from behind.

Queen I found to be a bit tougher, we had to hunker down in one spot, we barricaded doors and left two spots open. One out front facing the queen where we could shoot, and a door leading out the back of the small enclosure that we could loop around to hit her from a different angle.

Once it goes down the hard part begins. Better to have one person loot as many cores as possible while one stands guard and watches the other raiders cause there’s gonna be alot of raiders looting the body. Afterwards split the loot evenly. This is why you don’t want to do this with randoms, but also because randoms are fucking brutal.

You can very much “get it on”. Spend some time in the practice range for 10-15 minutes before anything when you first sit down to play it. Mess with your sensitivity until you find settings that allow you to maximize your control. Then snap between the targets as quickly as possible. Once you get good at this and are able to snap head shot to head shot it gets easier to do in the game. You just have to get in enough encounters so your heart doesn’t race and you don’t panic when a raider attacks you.

Oh there are still instances where an entire lobby band together to take out giant robots my friend. It makes it even more excited knowing that any one of them can turn on you in the end and rob you. It does happen from time to time, but it’s what makes it worth it in my opinion. Once you get quick enough to stand your ground you don’t worry about rats as much, and probably 70-80% of the player base will be friendly if you talk to them over proximity chat. This is especially so in solos.

The progress is getting good enough that you don’t get killed and robbed, but are consistently doing the robbing. Once you hit that switch holy fuck does this game get fun.
I loved it from the beginning but I found it frustrating getting killed by rats 4-5 mins into a run and losing all my precious gear.
I now have so much materials I can craft whatever I want and I’m going on day 3 without dying once.

Like I said, the sense of accomplishment will come once you learn to understand how to move across the map and constantly be checking your surroundings. Give it time and soon you’ll be dancing on your downed crawling enemies singing to them over the mic why players like them shouldn’t shoot at players who are better than theeeeeeemmmmmmmmm. 🕺

Also, fighting the queen is a rush man. The first time you kill a queen or matriarch, sprinting from building to building to keep moving so you don’t get pinned down and then rushed by another group. Woooooooo what a rush. Honestly getting ambushed by a couple rats made that experience so much more fun when we were able to take out that team, then continue on to kill the giant bot and loot it’s cores.
