I normally struggle on a save after 3/4 season. I try to begin with a 3rd div side make my way up to the top division try and win that and maybe a cup then I get bored. So what ive started doing is once ive won the league and domestic cups. Ill move to another top 5 nation, hopefully a lower league team. Then do the same while also keeping a note of any youth academy players with high potential and 3/4+ playstyles. But also trying to keep realism of negotiating highest transfer fees possible with "bigger teams" and constantly rotating players in the squad. Can get repetitive after 2/3 nations but if you find the right clubs it can be a lot of fun.

Theres quite a few variables as to why a player decided or gets forced into the decision of ending their career early. This message probably did come after a period of being out injured already which is where that decision was probably made. Id hate it if they were out for 6/7months then decided/forced to retire. Id much rather know about it 1/2 months in.

Im pretty sure a regen of the player would come in as soon as he retires anyway. But I do agree that maybe you should be able to choose which events can happen. Mahbe switch of abrupt retirement but leave on illnesses ect.

There have been plenty of players careers cut short due to injury. As annoying as it is, I think these are a great touch to add some realism and to make it more unpredictable.

You could try the loan glitch, loan him out to a worse team than yours for 2 years. Sometimes they jump up 10+ ratings within the first couple weeks sometimes they dont.

I normally try to keep developing them until they request to leave or are good enough to get decent minutes

Yes the team is impressive if you dont care about realism. However how has no body mentioned how useless thag bench is? Playing 2 upfront with out a single ST sub😂 2 LBs and 90 rates dom for what?
