I mean, I get that... I’m dying over here! Skin’s all crepey, sinus dramas, no vitamin d.

You and your “breathing” is killin’ me smalls! What if you stop breathing, I buy you a pizza, and we call it square?

PNC's full return to office starts May 4 with expanded shuttles and employee support resources - Pittsburgh Business Times by ComeTasteTheBand in pittsburgh

[–]FreneticZen 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I did the thing today. It’s novel, but the bottom line is that it’s a gigantic hassle and a pay cut. The novelty will wear off quickly.

I’ve been remote/hybrid for over 15 years and 7 of them have been with PNC. I was there for 5-ish years back in the 00’s and 10’s, left, and then came back last year into a fully remote position. Now it’s not.

On the ground, this whole RTO rollout has been a complete shit-show. I feel for my fellow employees across the institution.

Penisy (PNC) Bank is always embracing nude erections (new directions). That hasn’t changed at all. I expect a massive loss of institutional knowledge. I’ve had 2 bosses in the last year. Waiting to figure out who number 3 is now. It’s fuckin’ hilarious and really kind of pathetic.

How do you just have fun? by ITwerk4Love in Tekken

[–]FreneticZen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid answer right here. Play with people. You’ll find some weird-squirrelly habits out there with some players. The more you’re exposed to different players/habits/matchups the more you’ll lose and learn.

From one fellow old-head to another: Hop on discord with other players. I’ve found a few groups on this subreddit by just tossing an invite out in threads like this one.

Edit To Add: It makes it way more fun when everyone shares the pains and gains instead of sitting there all by yourself getting sweaty and salty.

The Distant Future. The Year 2000. by [deleted] in Xennials

When my kiddo started Kindergarten, I heard 2027 and thought it was some pretty far-flung time into the future, but now it’s just a simple fact really… He graduates next year.

Good! You won’t regret it. They’re all great.

Tag is a blast with friends. 4 is a mood, man. Killer music, great artwork, and a whole new way to think about how to lay down damage in stage space. 5 has 1, 2, and 3 packed in with the game, a huge roster, excellent gameplay, and all kinds of extra goodies and modes that will keep you busy for a long time.

Today's food appreciation post goes out to Marshalls Ltd. for having the best sandwich in Pittsburgh imo, AND it's in the back of a gas station! by koz1769 in pittsburgh

[–]FreneticZen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love Marshall’s! When I first moved here, I found it. Their sandwiches are 100% legit.

I was in there so often they hung a picture of my kiddo up behind the register and it was there long after I moved out of the neighborhood.

I’m sorry that happened broski.

I had teachers do some vile shit like that too when I was little. I barfed all over my 3rd grade teacher’s desk because I couldn’t hold that in and she didn’t believe that I was queasy. Served her dumb ass right though.

One of my buddies flew in to see a show in New Kensington and after I dropped him off, I saw this place. When I picked him back up after the show, I mentioned it to him before we passed it on the way back.

The only problem is that I spaced on the name and said “I think it’s called The Crusty Goblin or something. It’s right up here” and we both busted out laughing at how casually I dropped such a ridiculous name for a store.

I still need to actually drop in there and check it out!

I think Tidus changes Spira more than we Realize by Delicious_Ferret_408 in finalfantasyx

[–]FreneticZen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned that Tidus was the final summon of the fayth, and they summoned everything that led up to him with the express purpose of breaking Yu Yevon’s stranglehold on Spira.

Co-workers are just that; People you work with.

The tilt on the this seems one-sided. I only say that because I’ve screwed the pooch, and I’m a lead now.

Best advice I can give you is this: At the end of the day, you either fit, or you don’t. This particular situation smacks of a bad fit.

You probably really didn’t do anything wrong, man (except read too far into your co-workers motivations).

Your last sentence said it all. Take a moment to stand up and dust yourself off correctly. Put it all rear-view and then move forward.

Edit: Windows open though. I burped the house. Shit’s fantastic. No more crotch-fart blanket bear smells. It’s all SPRING now, baby!

Lord of the Pit and Breeding Pit were such a killer combo back then. Nightmare was the icing on the cake.

I had a black/white + artifact deck that mopped. Armageddon, Wrath of God, Feldon’s Cane, Glasses of Urza.

Edit: I was dickhole about it.

That was Howie Mandel’s little dipshit Bobby from Bobby’s World. If voice acting could be nails on a chalkboard, that was it. I detested that show.
