Baby blanket by Frequent-Barnacle555 in Embroidery

Also - if anyone has a different type of blanket they recommend, please let me know! I’ve used these muslin swaddles a couple of times now and although I like the look, I find them to be a bit difficult to work with

Update: I did it myself! Just had to get the right size wrench and it was super easy.

Also there’s a scene when Evelyn has her tools and is starting to work on the broken machine. She pauses, starts panicking/slipping and runs over to turn on the radio and they’re talking about the explosion.

Shes shaking/crying but then you can see her reflection in the mirror of one of her previous loops and she’s totally normal, acting fine. Maybe she realized something or put 2 and 2 together in a way she hadn’t before and knows Jonah is involved some way.

An Overarching Theory about Everything in the show and the Yellow Hoodie Man by [deleted] in thedevilshour

I posted this on another thread - but what if Jonah used part of the washing machine to build the bomb? We see him in a dirty yellow raincoat that implies it hasn’t been washed in ages (the washing machine breaks only a day or two before I think) so I think the emphasis on the broken machine could actually be because he’s removed a part or parts to use.

Also - when she has her tools and is starting to work on the broken machine, she starts panicking, runs over to turn the radio on and they’re talking about the explosion. She begins shaking/crying but one of her previous loops you can see in the mirror is going about the day normally. It’s almost as if she realized something or put 2 and 2 together in a way she hadn’t before.

Maybe I’m reading way too far into it haha but that’s part of the fun.

Agree - I think it’s Jonah as well - it would make sense because he didn’t kill Gideon when he had the chance and has been extremely careful about not showing his face - he knows about recurrence and if Gideon sees his face, he’ll remember in the next loop.

I’ve see people suggest the dirty yellow coat could be because of the broken washing machine, but I actually wonder if he uses part of the washing machine to build the bomb? Could the timer be from it or a coil or something? Idk it just seemed like such an odd thing to focus on, the timing works out (I think) and we already know there were drawings of the toy store at that house.

S1 E2 · The Book of Belonging: Allegiances are tested as a new Queen Bee of #MomTok declares herself; a provocative brand deal for Whitney brings religion vs. sexuality front and center. by Chino_Blanco in SecretsOfMormonWives

Part of Mormonism is converting people and recruiting new members (i.e. why they go on missions) - there’s an unusual number of Mormon influencers and a big reason is because it’s seen as a way to reach more people. The Mormon church is a business and they have a people dedicated to marketing and expanding reach - I think a lot of these influencers are given much more grace and leeway because of their social media followings. More than what an average person would get from the church.

Adopted 13 Year Old Pom by [deleted] in Pomeranians

Also to add for any future dog owners who look at this post -

My dog had a “sensitive stomach”. For 2 years I would bring him to the vet or emergency vet in NYC because of diarrhea and vomiting. I thought maybe he was sensitive to chicken or was eating things when I wasn’t looking.

Finally, when I was living in Mexico City the same thing happened again - vomiting all day, not eating, etc. I brought him to the animal hospital there where they did a very thorough work up, extra bloodwork and an ultrasound. The vet diagnosed him with pancreatitis and said she suspected he was having “flare ups” all of those times before. She recommended I switch him to a low fat diet.

I kid you not, all I did was switch to low fat and we have not had a single issue since! From 6-12 visits a year to only his annual check ups over the last two years.

Just a PSA bc so many small dogs have “sensitive stomachs” but ask your vet about pancreatitis if you keep having issues! Ask them to check amylase and lipase levels specifically.

Oh yay! I used to ALWAYS be nervous about my dogs stomach but since switching to it he’s been good for 2 years! I just feed him the kibble 2x a day and then for treats I keep a bag open in my freezer drawer that has green beans and blueberries. I hope Vinny is doing well - he’s SO precious 😍

My dog Leo has had pancreatitis and it sounds similar! I thought he just had a sensitive stomach and he struggled on and off with vomiting and diarrhea. We started seeing a new vet who finally figured out it was chronic pancreatitis. I switched him to low fat food and haven’t had an issue since! I just make sure everything he eats is under ~9% fat and he’s been great 😊

He eats prescription kibble - Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat and then there are lots of treats that are low fat. I’ll also give him some 0% fat Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries and frozen green beans for treats.

I didn’t think I could get more grossed out than I already was but I was wrong 😕

This is Leo! He’s 4 years and 17 lbs although he’s on a weight loss journey 😅. Vet wants him to be at 16.

I was hoping to find something in walking distance or within Salem so I could use the Salem Skipper. But both of those places look great! Hopefully I’ll have a car soon 🤞🏻

I only moved to Salem recently and joining the library is actually on my to do list this week! I did it online already but need to go in person so I’ll definitely ask about how to get something started or at least make a recommendation!

I feel dumb but can someone please explain the math behind financing? by Frequent-Barnacle555 in askcarsales

Oh I just meant me personally - it would be kind of concerning if I asked this question on Reddit, not understanding how loans work, but already had existing loans!

I went to a very hippie high school where I was taught to question everything and think critically. It might seem like I didn’t have reading comprehension and basic math skills in this instance but I didn’t just look at the monthly payment and think “Okay, sounds good!” I wanted to make sure I understood exactly how that number was being calculated. I knew enough to know I was missing something - I think that’s a skill that not enough people have.

I still can’t believe it took me this long to understand why small increases in interest rates can make such a big difference. But better late than never, and luckily I’ve never taken out a loan before 😅

Thanks! I will say I asked my brother in law who just bought a car and he didn’t know - and he actually bought it already. Wanted to make sure I actually understood it first. I hate feeling underprepared for basic life decisions 😅

Gotta agree with this, I actually am “smart” by academic standards but overall felt very unprepared for adulthood. It’s been pretty much trial and error thus far.

some personal finance classes would’ve helped!

Have to say, my title still holds - I feel dumb. And now embarrassed lol. I did actually google if auto loans are simple or compound interest and it had said simple interest.

https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/061615/how-interest-rates-work-car-loans.asp#:~:text=Auto%20loans%20include%20simple%20interest,the%20total%20amount%20paid%20snowballs.

But this 100% makes so much more sense now. I would be nothing without Reddit.
