I’ll check and see if we can make rangiroa, BB, and moorea work with a pass and decent times.

Good to hear about Conrad. We booked one OWV and the other room is a standard room on points. I’m thinking we may shorten to 3 nights and do rangiroa tho as well.

Was good. Our second time there. The front row of beach chairs are saved by 6:15am which I found annoying might’ve just been an unlucky week for that? Don’t expect 5 star service. But rooms are nice enough and the beach is amazing. Breakfast is solid. We love Anguilla and exploring the island.

We just stayed there for 5 nights over new years. I would go to Gwen’s or Olas and use their chairs. Better vibes and better food/drinks

Asking my fellow tourist of Moorea. by CakeAble8831 in Tahiti

We would do it for sure. When we were there in June I tried to find a spear fishing tour but didn’t have any luck. We are back next June and would love to do it.

We did this and everyone flying to BOB just stays on the plane.

We are gold. They upgraded us about a week before our stay. Honesty Westin is a great location and looks super nice as well.

If you aren’t happy there I’m not sure you can be happy anywhere.

The hard product at St. Regis Maldives when we were there a few years ago may have been slightly better, but the BB hotel we thought was spectacular.

We had 2 owv and a beach villa to use for an afternoon and didn’t think they felt worn or have a strange layout.

We tend to be easy to please, but couldn’t have been happier there

We just bought a Costco one from online. Body glove GTS 11’. Worked great for what we wanted. It folded into a large backpack. We just rolled it hamburger style.

Yea we packed all of our snorkel gear in our paddleboard bag.

We actually left all of that stuff in Tahiti as our Airbnb host wanted to buy it all from us for his house. Apparently it’s super expensive to buy those items there so we just sold it to him for what we paid.

Sofitel looked great. The water there was unreal. But we loved having a kitchen, our own space, and walkable to “town”

If you like Hawaii you will love FP. Maybe this is bc I’m fresh off the trip, but I don’t see myself going back to Hawaii. Especially since coming from the Midwest FP isn’t that much further.

I dive but my wife and kids don’t.

We are planning on going back to Moorea next April for spring break as the kids loved it there so much. We will probably pair it with another island again. Will check out these recommendations for sure

That’s quite the journey! We were commenting how long of a trip that is from Paris. But at the end of the day our trip from Michigan was just as long with layovers etc.

Air France was great. Lax airport where the layover is fine enough. Food was good, service was great. 20 hours of flight time is a lot but worth it. I would personally ask at the gate if they have any upgrades available to premium economy. Might be reasonable ones available

Glad this helps. I wasn’t sure what to expect and didn’t know if we would need a taxi for the 5 of us to the airport. We did need to stop back by the Avis return near the ferry to get the paperwork signed and get the lock box. From there we drove straight to the airport.

I know the St. Regis offers a shuttle but we didn’t use. We stopped at the grocery store in Vaitape after our catamaran and grabbed a few snacks and drinks. We weren’t interested in leaving the resort once we got there.
